Does not properly see. The contact that arises from the aggregation of the body is not properly seen as permanent. The contact that arises from the aggregation of the body is not properly seen as impermanent. The contact that arises from the aggregation of the body is not properly seen as the end of samsara. It is not properly seen as nirvana. Whatever feeling arises from the condition of contact that arises from the aggregation of body, touchable objects, and body consciousness, whether it is pleasure, pain, or neither pleasure nor pain, is not properly seen as permanent or impermanent. Pleasure and pain, as well as self and non-self, peace and non-peace, emptiness and non-emptiness, characterized and uncharacterized, wished for and unwished for, conditioned and unconditioned, completely defiled and purified, birth and cessation, solitary place and non-solitary place, virtuous and non-virtuous, with faults and without faults, with outflows and without outflows, with afflictions and without afflictions, mundane and transcendental, samsara and nirvana, are not properly seen. The so-called mind is not properly seen as permanent. The so-called mind is not properly seen as impermanent. The so-called mind is not properly seen as the end of samsara. It is not properly seen as nirvana. The so-called dharma is not properly seen as permanent. The so-called dharma is not properly seen as impermanent. The so-called dharma is not properly seen as the end of samsara. It is not properly seen as nirvana. The so-called consciousness is not properly seen as permanent. The so-called consciousness is not properly seen as impermanent. The so-called consciousness is not properly seen as the end of samsara. It is not properly seen as nirvana. The so-called contact that arises from the aggregation of mind is not properly seen as permanent.

One does not see accordingly. The so-called contact arising from the gathering of consciousness, one does not see accordingly that it is impermanent. The so-called contact arising from the gathering of consciousness, one does not see accordingly that it is in the cycle of existence. One does not see accordingly that it is in the state of nirvana. Whatever feeling arises from the cause of contact arising from the gathering of consciousness and dharma, and the consciousness of consciousness, whether it is happiness, or suffering, or neither happiness nor suffering, one does not see accordingly that it is permanent or impermanent. Happiness and suffering, self and no-self, peace and non-peace, emptiness and non-emptiness, having signs and having no signs, having aspirations and having no aspirations, conditioned and unconditioned, completely defiled and completely purified, birth and cessation, solitude and non-solitude, virtuous and non-virtuous, with faults and without faults, with outflows and without outflows, with afflictions and without afflictions, worldly and beyond worldly, cyclic existence and nirvana, one does not see accordingly. Why is that? When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not see accordingly that the Perfection of Wisdom, and that Bodhisattva, and the name of the Bodhisattva exist in the realm of the conditioned. Nor does one see accordingly that it exists in the realm of the unconditioned. Why is that? It is because when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, one does not discriminate against all those dharmas, one does not make various discriminations. When he practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he abides in the dharma of non-discrimination, and in order to cultivate the four mindfulnesses, he practices the Perfection of Wisdom. Except for attending to the all-knowingness of all aspects, one does not see accordingly the Perfection of Wisdom itself. Nor does one see accordingly the name of the Perfection of Wisdom. Nor does one see accordingly the Bodhisattva.

Where is it not seen afterwards? The name of a Bodhisattva is also not seen afterwards. A Tathagata is also not seen afterwards. The name of a Tathagata is also not seen afterwards. For the sake of cultivating the right abandonments, the feet of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the path, the perfections, all emptinesses, the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the superknowledges, the samadhis, the doors of dharani, the powers of the Thus-Gone One, the fearlessnesses, the separate correct knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, one engages in the Perfection of Wisdom. However, the Perfection of Wisdom itself is also not seen afterwards. The name of the Perfection of Wisdom is also not seen afterwards. A Bodhisattva is also not seen afterwards. The name of a Bodhisattva is also not seen afterwards. A Tathagata is also not seen afterwards. The name of a Tathagata is also not seen afterwards. Why is that? When that Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, he thoroughly understands the dharmic characteristics of all dharmas. The dharmic characteristic of all dharmas does not transform into defilement, nor does it transform into purification. Subhuti, in this way, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, he comprehends the designation of names and things as dharmas. When he thus comprehends the designation of names and things as dharmas, he does not become attached to form, he does not become attached to feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness, he does not become attached to the eye, he does not become attached to form, he does not become attached to eye-consciousness.
