Even if one were to travel through Buddhafields that are unspeakable and beyond unspeakable, thinking that one's body and mind would not be weary, one should still train in the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, how should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva emit hundreds of thousands of kotis of nayutas of rays from the two soles of his feet, which are endowed with a thousand-spoked wheel, and completely pacify all the sufferings of the unfree states and the bad destinies, thinking that all sentient beings will be happy? One should still train in the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should thoroughly examine it in this way: How can I be surrounded and attended by hundreds of thousands of kotis of nayutas of gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, as well as the Thirty-three, the Yama, the Tushita, the Enjoying Emanations, the Controlling Others' Emanations, the Brahma retinue, the Brahma attendants, the Great Brahma, the Light, the Minor Light, the Immeasurable Light, the Radiant, the Virtuous, the Minor Virtuous, the Immeasurable Virtuous, the Universal Virtuous, the Great, the Minor Great, the Immeasurable Great, the Universal Great, the Cloudless, the Merit-born, the Vast Fruit, the Non-afflicted, the Non-tormented, the Abundant Appearance, the Extremely Visible, and the Akanishtha gods, and go to the Bodhi tree? One should still train in the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should thoroughly examine it in this way: How can I, when sitting under the Bodhi tree, be surrounded and attended by the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, as well as the Thirty-three, the Yama, the Tushita, the Enjoying Emanations, the Controlling Others' Emanations, the Brahma retinue, the Brahma attendants, the Great Brahma, the Light, the Minor Light, the Immeasurable Light, the Radiant, the Virtuous, the Minor Virtuous, the Immeasurable Virtuous, the Universal Virtuous, the Great, the Minor Great, the Immeasurable Great, the Universal Great, the Cloudless, the Non-tormented,

And appear, and appear exceedingly, and think that even the gods of Akanishta would become cushions, one should also train in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, one should thus fully contemplate: How can I sit at the essence of the bodhi tree, and having struck the great earth with a hand well adorned with marks, think that the dark side, together with the retinue of demons, will be utterly defeated, one should also train in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, one should thus fully contemplate: How can I manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and those places where one goes, stands, sits, and sleeps will abide in the nature of a vajra, one should also train in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, one should thus fully contemplate: How can I, on the very day on which I manifestly arise, defeat the dark side together with its retinue on that very day, and manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? Having manifestly awakened, how can I turn the wheel of dharma on that very day? Having turned the wheel, how can countless, immeasurable sentient beings be separated from dust, separated from defilement, and purify the eye of dharma in the dharma? How can countless, immeasurable sentient beings be liberated in mind from the outflows without taking anything? How can countless, immeasurable sentient beings be made irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? Thinking thus, one should also train in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, one should generate the mind thus: How can I, when I manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, the sangha of shravakas...

also become immeasurable and countless. Arhats on a single dharma seat also become immeasurable and countless. Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas will become irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. The Sangha of Bodhisattvas also becomes immeasurable and countless. The measure of life becomes immeasurable. Immeasurable light becomes perfect, if you think so, you should also study the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when I manifest unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, make it so that even the sounds of desire, hatred, and delusion are not heard in that Buddha-field? If you think so, you should also study the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when I manifest unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, cause all sentient beings in that Buddha-field to possess such wisdom that they know that giving is virtuous, taming is virtuous, discipline is virtuous, pure conduct is virtuous, and harmlessness to all living beings is virtuous? If you think so, you should also study the Perfection of Wisdom. How should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, even after I have completely passed into nirvana, make it so that even the sound of "the sacred Dharma is declining" is not heard? If you think so, you should also study the Perfection of Wisdom. How should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, just by hearing my name, cause many sentient beings in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges to be certain to attain unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment? If you think so, you should also study the Perfection of Wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom and accomplishes these qualities, the Four Great Kings will also think: We too shall offer to this Bodhisattva the bowls that were offered by the kings of past Buddhas.
