Then those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas and, the gods, with flowers and garlands and incense and anointing oil and fumigation and powder and clothes and umbrellas and banners and divine flags, scattered them upon the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha. They completely scattered them. Then those flowers and so on rose up into the sky above this three-thousand great-thousand world realm, and became a flower mansion, square with four pillars, equal in all parts, extremely distinct, bright, joyful, and pleasing to the mind. Then, from within that assembly, billions of hundreds of thousands of millions of beings obtained the forbearance of non-arising dharmas. Then they rose from their seats, and with palms joined together, bowed to where the Bhagavan was, and said this to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, in the future, may we also obtain all such aspects of the Dharma that the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha has attained, and may we completely gather the Sangha of Shravakas in this way. Just as the Tathagata has taught the Dharma here now, may we also teach the Dharma in the same way, like this assembly." Thus they made their aspiration. Then the Bhagavan understood the thoughts of those sons of good family, and the forbearance of all dharmas without arising and, without ceasing and, without intentional action and, without coming into existence.

Having known this, the Blessed One smiled. Then, the venerable Ānanda rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with his palms joined, bowed to where the Blessed One was. He said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, do not smile without a cause or reason. What is the cause, what is the reason for your smiling?" The Blessed One replied: "Ānanda, in this assembly, countless billions, trillions, hundreds of thousands of beings have obtained tolerance of the dharma of non-arising. In the future, after sixty-eight billion, trillion, hundred thousand kalpas, in a kalpa called Flower Source, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, named Flower of Enlightenment Limb, will appear entirely in the world." From the Twenty-Five Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, the Chapter of Śāriputra, the Second. Chapter Two.
