When a great Bodhisattva hero engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, abiding in the Perfection of Meditation, for the sake of emptiness that transcends limits, by closely holding an undisturbed mind, there are also those who train in the path of omniscience. Sharadvatiputra, likewise, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, for the sake of emptiness that transcends limits, by closely holding a mind that does not focus on scattered wisdom, there are also those who train in the path of omniscience. Sharadvatiputra, thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, abiding in the six perfections, for the sake of emptiness that transcends limits, by closely holding the absence of coming and going, and by closely holding the absence of grasping, one completely trains in the path of omniscience. Therein, generosity is established from closely holding onto grasping. Morality is established from closely holding onto bad morality. Patience is established from closely holding onto disturbance. Diligence is established from closely holding onto laziness. Samadhi is established from closely holding onto non-absorption. Wisdom is established from closely holding onto scattered wisdom. There is no pride in thinking, "I have crossed over." There is no pride in thinking, "I have not crossed over." There is no pride in thinking, "I am giving." There is no pride in thinking, "I am not giving." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess morality." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess bad morality." There is no pride in thinking, "I am perfect in patience." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess anger." There is no pride in thinking, "I have exerted diligence." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess laziness." There is no pride in thinking, "I am absorbed in meditation." There is no pride in thinking, "I am not absorbed in meditation." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess wisdom." There is no pride in thinking, "I possess scattered wisdom." There is no pride in thinking, "I have abandoned."

I have prostrated, I have no pride in this. I have served, I have no pride in this. I have not served, I have no pride in this. What is the reason for this? Sharadvati's son, the unborn is praised, I have no pride in this. I have prostrated, I have no pride in this. I have served, I have no pride in this. I have not served, I have no pride in this. What is the reason for this? Thus, the Perfection of Wisdom completely cuts off all pride. Sharadvati's son, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, how many qualities are there, those qualities are not possessed by all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. When he perfects these qualities, he also matures sentient beings, also purifies the Buddha-field, and also attains omniscience. Sharadvati's son, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he generates equanimity towards all sentient beings. Having generated equanimity towards all sentient beings, he will attain the equality of all dharmas. Having attained the equality of all dharmas, he will establish all sentient beings in the equality of all dharmas. Then, even in this life, he will be pleasing and beloved to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and will be pleasing and beloved to all Bodhisattvas, all Shravakas, and all Pratyekabuddhas. Wherever he is born, in those places, his eyes will never see unpleasant forms, his ears will not hear unpleasant sounds, his nose will not smell unpleasant odors, his tongue will not taste unpleasant flavors, his body will not touch unpleasant tactile sensations, and his mind will not cognize unpleasant dharmas. Sharadvati's son, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way will not regress from unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment. The Perfection of Wisdom
