Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving for abiding. Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving for the mindfulnesses. Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving for the right abandonments, the supports of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the paths, the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine progressive abidings in absorption, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and the superknowledges. Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving for all concentrations and all gateways of dharani. Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving for the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four particular correct knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Nor does one truly see diligence or non-diligence in striving up to all-knowingness. Sharadvatiputra, in such ways as these, because all phenomena have no joining or separation, a bodhisattva mahasattva is said to be diligent in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva engages in the perfection of wisdom, he does not gather or separate emptiness and emptiness, nor is it the yoga of emptiness. Signlessness and not gathering or separating signlessness, nor is it the yoga of signlessness. Wishlessness and not gathering or separating wishlessness, nor is it the yoga of wishlessness. Why is that? Because, in this way, emptiness has no joining or separation. Signlessness and wishlessness have no joining or separation. Sharadvatiputra, such a diligent bodhisattva mahasattva is the perfection of wisdom.

is called diligent in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, he engages in the emptiness of the self-nature of all dharmas. Because he understands it in that way, he does not combine or separate form. He does not combine or separate feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. He does not combine or separate even up to all-knowingness. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way is called diligent in the perfection of wisdom. Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, he does not combine or separate form with the past extreme, because he does not even truly see the past extreme itself.
