Or the samadhi of the formless absorptions, or the liberations, or the samadhis, or the samadhi of abiding in stages, or the powers of the Thus-Gone One, or the fearlessnesses, or the individual correct knowledges, or the unshared qualities of a Buddha, or the Dharma of the Hearers, or the Dharma of the Solitary Buddhas, or the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas. By the Dharma of the Buddha, one benefits sentient beings, and sentient beings also do the same. To those sentient beings who are miserly, one teaches the Dharma thus: Please give alms! Poverty is suffering. With poverty, one cannot even accomplish one's own benefit, let alone the benefit of others. Therefore, please give alms, and make us happy, and also make others happy! Being oppressed by poverty, eating one's own flesh and blood, one will never be liberated from the three lower realms. Thus one teaches the Dharma. To those sentient beings who have bad morality, one teaches the Dharma thus: O noble ones, bad morality is suffering. With bad morality, one cannot even accomplish one's own benefit, let alone the benefit of others. The ripening of bad morality is: sentient beings falling into hell, or being born as animals, or entering the realm of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, even we cannot save you, let alone save others. Therefore, do not give any opportunity to the mind of bad morality, otherwise you will regret it later. Thus one teaches the Dharma. To those sentient beings who are mutually hostile, one teaches the Dharma thus: Do not be mutually hostile! If the mind is disturbed, no virtuous Dharma will arise. Therefore, if you are mutually hostile, sentient beings will be born in hell, or be born as animals, or be born in the realm of Yama. Therefore, do not give any opportunity to the mind of hostility, otherwise you will regret it later. Thus one teaches the Dharma. To those sentient beings who are lazy

To those who are lazy, they teach the Dharma thus: 'Hey, young man, laziness is suffering. A lazy person cannot even do their own work, let alone help others. The result of laziness is falling into hell, the animal realm, or the realm of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, even we cannot save you, let alone save others. Therefore, you should not give laziness any chance. Otherwise, it will be too late to regret it in the future.' To those sentient beings whose minds are distracted, they teach the Dharma thus: 'Hey, young man, a distracted mind is suffering. The result of a distracted mind is falling into hell, the animal realm, or the realm of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms, even we cannot save you, let alone save others. Therefore, you should not give a distracted mind any chance. Otherwise, it will be too late to regret it in the future.' To those sentient beings who lack wisdom, they teach the Dharma thus: 'Hey, young man, lacking wisdom is suffering. A person lacking wisdom cannot even do their own work, let alone help others. The result of lacking wisdom is falling into hell, the animal realm, or the realm of Yama. Therefore, you should not give a mind lacking wisdom any chance. Otherwise, it will be too late to regret it in the future.' For those who engage in desirous conduct, they apply the contemplation of unattractiveness. For those who engage in hateful conduct, they apply loving-kindness. For those who engage in deluded conduct, they apply dependent origination. For those who have entered the wrong path, they lead them to the correct path, whether it be the path of the Hearers, the Solitary Realizers, or the Buddhas. And to them they teach the Dharma thus: 'The dharmas to which you are attached are empty of inherent existence.'

They cannot be attached to phenomena, and teach that there is no attachment to emptiness. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he abides in the superknowledges and does the work of sentient beings. With his pure, superhuman divine eye, he sees all the worlds in the southwest direction, and he goes to those places by means of his miraculous powers, and practices giving, or discipline, or patience, or diligence, or meditation, or wisdom, or mindfulness, or right elimination, or the bases of miraculous power, or the faculties, or the powers, or the limbs of enlightenment, or the eightfold noble path, or the doors of liberation of emptiness, or signlessness, or wishlessness, or meditations, or immeasurables, or formless absorptions, or liberations, or samadhis, or successive abiding samadhis, or the powers of the Tathagata, or the fearlessnesses, or the separate correct knowledges, or the unshared qualities of the Buddha, or the Dharma of the Hearers, or the Dharma of the Solitary Buddhas, or the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas, or the Dharmas of the Buddhas, for the sake of sentient beings, and does the work of sentient beings. To those stingy sentient beings, he teaches thus: Give alms! Poverty is suffering, and the poor cannot even do their own work, let alone do the work of others. Therefore, give alms and make yourselves happy, and make others happy too. Oppressed by poverty, eating their own flesh, they cannot be liberated from the three lower realms! Thus he teaches. To those immoral sentient beings, he teaches thus: O noble ones, immorality is suffering, and the immoral cannot even do their own work, let alone do the work of others. The ripening of immorality is that sentient beings fall into hell or into
