Let them be connected. Connect all those who are characterized by anger to loving-kindness. Connect all those who are characterized by ignorance to dependent origination. Connect all those who have entered the wrong path to the right path, either to the path of the Hearers, or to the path of the Solitary Buddhas, or to the path of the Buddhas, and teach them the Dharma thus: "The dharmas to which you are attached are empty of inherent existence. One cannot be attached to dharmas that are empty of inherent existence. There is no attachment to emptiness." Thus, the Dharma is taught. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he abides in all the superknowledges and works for the benefit of sentient beings. The Hundred Thousand Verses of the Perfection of Wisdom. Chapter Twenty-two. With that pure divine eye, surpassing the human eye, he sees all the world realms in the upper direction, and goes to them by means of miraculous power, and with generosity, or with morality, or with patience, or with diligence, or with meditation, or with wisdom, or with the mindfulnesses, or with the perfect abandonments, or with the legs of miraculous power, or with the faculties, or with the powers, or with the branches of enlightenment, or with the eightfold noble path, or with the doors of liberation of emptiness, or with the signless, or with the wishless, or with the meditations, or with the immeasurables, or with the formless absorptions, or with the liberations, or with the samadhis, or with the absorptions of abiding in cessation, or with the powers of the Thus-gone One, or with the fearlessnesses, or with the separate perfect knowledges, or with the unmixed Buddha-dharmas, or with the Dharma of the Hearers, or with the Dharma of the Solitary Buddhas, or with the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas, or with the Dharma of the Buddhas, he works for the benefit of sentient beings, and does the deeds of those sentient beings. To those sentient beings who are miserly, he teaches the Dharma thus: "Give alms! Poverty is suffering. With poverty, one cannot even accomplish one's own benefit, let alone the benefit of others."

Needless to say. In this way, give alms and make us happy too! Make us happy again! Oppressed by poverty, eating one's own flesh, unable to escape from the three lower realms, thus the Dharma is taught. To all those beings who have bad morality, the Dharma is taught in this way: Hey, gentlemen, bad morality is suffering. Bad morality cannot even accomplish one's own benefit, let alone the benefit of others. The ripening result of bad morality is that beings fall into hell, or are born as animals, or enter the world of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms in this way, we cannot save you either, let alone save others. Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the thought of bad morality. You will regret it later, thus the Dharma is taught. To all those beings who have malicious thoughts towards each other, the Dharma is taught in this way: In this way, do not have malicious thoughts towards each other. If the mind is disturbed, no virtuous Dharma will arise. Therefore, if you are disturbed in mind with each other, there is a possibility of being born as a hell being, or being born as an animal, or being born in the world of Yama. Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the disturbed mind. You will regret it later, thus the Dharma is taught. To all those lazy beings, the Dharma is taught in this way: Hey, gentlemen, laziness is suffering. Laziness cannot even accomplish one's own benefit, let alone the benefit of others. The ripening result of laziness is that beings fall into hell, or are born as animals, or enter the world of Yama. If you fall into the three lower realms in this way, we cannot save you either, let alone save others. Therefore, you should not give even the slightest opportunity to the thought of laziness. You will regret it later, thus the Dharma is taught. To all those beings whose minds are distracted, the Dharma is taught in this way: Hey, gentlemen, a distracted mind is suffering. Whatever is a distracted mind
