Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas cultivated faith in them, and were liberated from those great hells. Having been liberated from those great hells, they were born sharing the same fate as gods and humans, and gradually saw the end of suffering through the three vehicles. Shariputra, from here, I observe the world with the Buddha's eye, and in the western world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas intentionally vowed to enter the great hells and pacify the suffering of the great hells. Through the miracle of magical power, the miracle of complete manifestation, and the miracle of subsequent manifestation, these three miracles teach the Dharma to those hell beings. Through the miracle of magical power, the suffering of the great hells is pacified, and through the miracle of complete manifestation and the miracle of subsequent manifestation, the Dharma is preached. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas teach the Dharma with great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity. Therefore, those hell beings cultivated faith in those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and were liberated from those great hells. Having been liberated from those great hells, they were born sharing the same fate as gods and humans, and gradually saw the end of suffering through the three vehicles. Having pacified those, they teach the Dharma with miracles that are fully displayed and miracles that follow. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas teach the Dharma with great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity. Therefore, those hell beings develop faith in those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas and are liberated from those great hells. Having arisen from those great hells, they are born equal to gods and humans, and gradually see the end of suffering through the three vehicles. Subhuti, when I look at the world from here with the Buddha's eye, in the northeast direction, in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas intentionally think and enter into the great hells. Having pacified the suffering of the great hells, they teach the Dharma to those hell beings with miracles of magical power, miracles that are fully displayed, and miracles that follow, and with those three kinds of miracles. Having pacified the suffering of the great hells with miracles of magical power, they teach the Dharma with miracles that are fully displayed and miracles that follow. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas teach the Dharma with great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity. Therefore, those hell beings develop reverence for those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas and are liberated from those great hells. Having arisen from those great hells, they are born equal to gods and humans, and gradually see the end of suffering through the three vehicles.
