In the world realms in the northwest direction, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas intentionally think of entering the great hells, pacifying the suffering of the great hells. With the miracle of supernatural power, the miracle of complete manifestation, and the miracle of subsequent manifestation, these three miracles teach the Dharma to the sentient beings in hell. With the miracle of supernatural power, they pacify the suffering of the great hells. With the miracle of complete manifestation and the miracle of subsequent manifestation, they teach the Dharma. These Bodhisattva Mahasattvas teach the Dharma with great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity. Therefore, the sentient beings in hell are pleased with these Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and they are liberated from the great hells. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas teach the Dharma with great love, great compassion, great joy, and great equanimity, thereby causing the beings in the hell realms to have faith in those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and they are liberated from the great hells. Having been liberated from those great hells, they share the same fate as gods and humans, and gradually they see the end of suffering through the three vehicles. Subhuti, from here, I observe the world with the Buddha's eye, and in the worlds in the eastern direction, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, I see Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who are serving and respecting the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas do not fail to please those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, but they please them; they do not fail to be in accordance with their minds, but they are in accordance with their minds; they are not disrespectful, but they are very respectful.
