That, until attaining unexcelled, perfect enlightenment and Buddhahood, this recollection will not cease. He abides in the undefiled, transcendental Dharma of the noble ones, which is not shared by all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, thereby perfecting the superknowledges of the noble ones. Having perfected these superknowledges, he abides in the six perfections, and with the divine eye, he sees in the southwest direction countless, numberless, inconceivable world realms, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat who dwell, live, and teach the Dharma. Having seen these Buddhas, the Bhagavat, he obtains the recollection of the Buddha. His recollection of the Buddha, until attaining unexcelled, perfect enlightenment and Buddhahood, this recollection will not cease.

, having seen those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one obtains mindfulness of the Buddha. That mindfulness of the Buddha will not cease until one manifestly and perfectly awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. He abides in those noble, undefiled, supramundane dharmas, which are not common to all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and thus he perfects the noble superknowledges. Having perfected those superknowledges, he abides in the six perfections. With the divine eye, in the immeasurable, countless, and limitless realms of the world in the directions above, he sees all those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell, maintain, and teach the Dharma. Having seen those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, he obtains mindfulness of the Buddha. That mindfulness of the Buddha will not cease until one manifestly and perfectly awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. With the divine ear that transcends human capacity, he hears and retains what those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have spoken. Having retained it, he diligently practices it as it is. Having diligently practiced it as it is, he teaches the Dharma to sentient beings as it is. Knowing the variety of minds, he thoroughly understands the minds of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with his mind. He also thoroughly understands the minds of all the noble ones with his mind. He also thoroughly understands the minds of all the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas with his mind. He also thoroughly understands the minds of all sentient beings with his mind. Having fully understood the minds of all sentient beings with his mind, he teaches the Dharma as it is. Knowing the recollection of past lives, he fully understands the past roots of virtue of those sentient beings, and he truly shows the roots of virtue to those sentient beings. He truly encourages them, truly praises them, and truly makes them happy. Knowing the exhaustion of defilements, with the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements, he thoroughly establishes sentient beings in the three vehicles. Subhuti, this is how a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom.

Hey! All dharmas are without characteristics, without action, without objects, without arising, and without manifestation; thus, the perfection of patience is fully accomplished. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thus practices the Perfection of Wisdom, they skillfully ripen all sentient beings through skillful means and purify the Buddha-field. Having ripened all sentient beings and purified the Buddha-field, they practice all-knowingness. Having perfected all-knowingness, they manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Having manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, they turn the wheel of Dharma. Having turned the wheel of Dharma, they liberate sentient beings from samsara through the three vehicles. Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with a mind free from characteristics, they perfect the Perfection of Patience in relation to all dharmas that are without characteristics, without action, without objects, without arising, and without manifestation. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, perfect the Perfection of Diligence with a mind free from characteristics in relation to all dharmas that are without characteristics, without action, without objects, without arising, and without manifestation? Subhuti, in this case, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, from the moment of first generating the mind, they diligently guard it with a mind free from characteristics in relation to all dharmas that are without characteristics, without action, without objects, without arising, and without manifestation. They possess bodily diligence and mental diligence. Abiding in bodily diligence, they cultivate and abide in the first dhyana, cultivate the second dhyana.
