In countless inconceivable realms, all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and protect, and those who teach the Dharma, are seen. This vision, until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, even until Buddhahood, does not diminish. From the divine eye, born of complete maturation, in the immeasurable, countless, inconceivable realms of the northwest direction, all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and protect, and those who teach the Dharma, are seen. This vision, until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, even until Buddhahood, does not diminish. From the divine eye, born of complete maturation, in the immeasurable, countless, inconceivable realms of the lower direction, all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and protect, and those who teach the Dharma, are seen. This vision, until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, even until Buddhahood, does not diminish. From the divine eye, born of complete maturation, in the immeasurable, countless, inconceivable realms of the upper direction, all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and protect, and those who teach the Dharma, are seen. This vision, until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, even until Buddhahood, does not diminish. He, with the divine ear realm, pure and surpassing that of humans, hears the sounds spoken by those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and this hearing, just as it is heard, until the benefit of self and others is accomplished by this hearing, does not diminish. By knowing the aspects of the mind, he thoroughly knows the intention of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and this knowing of the aspects of the mind, just as it is known, until the benefit of all sentient beings is accomplished by this knowing of the aspects of the mind, does not diminish. He, with the knowledge of remembering past lives, knows the past and future roots of virtue of those sentient beings, and those roots of virtue.

also correctly indicates those beings. Also correctly exhorts. Also correctly praises. Also correctly makes them rejoice. Those who are thus correctly indicated, correctly exhorted, correctly praised, and correctly made to rejoice, will also advance especially. With the wisdom of the exhaustion of outflows, one also causes beings to fully incline towards the fruit of stream-entry. One causes them to fully incline towards the fruit of once-returner. One causes them to fully incline towards the fruit of non-returner. One causes them to fully incline towards the state of Arhat. One causes them to fully incline towards self-awakening. One causes them to fully incline towards awakening. Likewise, for beings, whatever virtuous dharma, and whatever has an end, one causes them to fully incline towards that. Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Prajnaparamita, with a mind free from characteristics, in which all dharmas are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifestation, he perfects the Paramita of Morality. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, when engaging in the Prajnaparamita, with a mind free from characteristics, in which all dharmas are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifestation, perfect the Paramita of Patience? Subhuti, here, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Prajnaparamita, with a mind free from characteristics, in which all dharmas are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifestation, from the arising of the first thought of enlightenment, taking it closely until dwelling at the essence of enlightenment, he cultivates these two patiences, namely, the patience of not being angered by harm, and the patience towards the dharma of non-arising. Among these, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva's patience of not being angered by harm is that all beings repeatedly come before him, scolding and speaking unpleasant words, and also striking with stones and wooden staffs, and stabbing with weapons, yet for this, the Bodhisattva

Ah, the great Bodhisattva, even in the case of some arising minds that are contentious, does not differentiate. Therefore, it should be examined in this way: For those who revile, speak unpleasant words, slander and beat, and those who scold, speak unpleasant words, strike and stab, they should not be regarded as targets of attack. For the Bodhisattva Mahasattva's forbearance of the unborn dharma, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva contemplates the nature of all dharmas, if even the nature of dharma is not clung to, how can the self-nature of dharmas be clung to? Therefore, he does not truly see the self-nature of all dharmas, and thus attains the supreme forbearance of the unborn dharma. Why is it called forbearance? Because afflictions do not arise, and wisdom does not diminish. Forbearance is the forbearance of the unborn dharma. Relying on these two forbearances, one can perfect the four dhyanas, perfect the four immeasurables, perfect the four formless absorptions, perfect the four mindfulnesses, perfect the four right abandonments, perfect the four miraculous feet, perfect the five faculties, perfect the five powers, perfect the seven branches of enlightenment, perfect the eightfold noble path, perfect the three doors of liberation, perfect the various superknowledges, perfect the various samadhis, perfect the various dharani doors, perfect the ten powers of the Tathagata, perfect the four fearlessnesses, perfect the four analytical understandings, perfect great love, perfect great compassion, perfect the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. He (the Bodhisattva) perfects these undefiled, transcendental noble dharmas, all of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas.
