Acting in activities, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in making the Buddha-fields completely pure, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in fully ripening sentient beings, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in all fearlessnesses, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in the manifest accomplishment of letters, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in entering into letters, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in entering into the absence of letters, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in dharanis, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in the realm of the conditioned, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Acting in the realm of the unconditioned, which is called emptiness, one should act in such a way that one's mind never changes into two. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who acts in this way in the Perfection of Wisdom is acting in Bodhi; therefore, it is called the conduct of a Bodhisattva. After this was said, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, when we say 'Tathagata, Tathagata,' what is the meaning of the term 'Tathagata'?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, the meaning of 'Thatness' is 'Tathagata.' Subhuti, in this way, because he has manifestly and completely awakened to the Dharma of Thatness, he is called 'Tathagata.' Because he thoroughly understands the meaning of Thatness, he is called 'Tathagata.' Subhuti, in this way, because he has manifestly and completely awakened to all Dharmas as they are, he is called 'Tathagata.'" Subhuti asked: "Blessed One, when we say 'Bodhi, Bodhi,' what is the meaning of the term 'Bodhi?'"

Daktsak! The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, that which is called Bodhi is the ultimate expression of emptiness. It is the ultimate expression of Suchness. It is the ultimate expression of unerring Suchness. It is the ultimate expression of non-other Suchness. It is the ultimate expression of the nature of Dharma. It is the ultimate expression of the realm of Dharma. It is the ultimate expression of the abiding nature of Dharma. It is the ultimate expression of the faultless Dharma. It is the ultimate expression of the limit of reality. Furthermore, Subhuti, that which is called Bodhi is Suchness, unerring Suchness, non-other Suchness, Suchness that does not change into another form. Therefore, it is called Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, it is like this: that which is called Bodhi is only a name and an appearance. Therefore, it is called Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, the meaning of reality is the meaning of Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, it enables one to understand all dharmas as merely names and appearances. Therefore, it is called Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, the meaning of non-differentiation is the meaning of Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, that is the Bodhi of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones. Therefore, it is called Bodhi. Furthermore, Subhuti, it is because the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, have manifestly and perfectly awakened that it is called Bodhi." He asked: "Blessed One, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, who practices this Bodhi, practice the Perfection of Generosity, practice the Perfection of Discipline, practice the Perfection of Patience, practice the Perfection of Diligence, practice the Perfection of Meditation, practice the Perfection of Wisdom, practice inner emptiness, practice outer emptiness, practice inner-outer emptiness, practice emptiness of emptiness, practice great emptiness, practice ultimate emptiness, practice conditioned emptiness, practice unconditioned emptiness, practice emptiness beyond extremes, practice beginninglessness
