Its suchness is not fixated upon. If the formations themselves are not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the formations be fixated upon? Therein, consciousness is not fixated upon. The suchness of consciousness is not fixated upon. If consciousness itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of consciousness be fixated upon? Therein, the eye is not fixated upon. The suchness of the eye is not fixated upon. If the eye itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the eye be fixated upon? Therein, the ear is not fixated upon. The suchness of the ear is not fixated upon. If the ear itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the ear be fixated upon? Therein, the nose is not fixated upon. The suchness of the nose is not fixated upon. If the nose itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the nose be fixated upon? Therein, the tongue is not fixated upon. The suchness of the tongue is not fixated upon. If the tongue itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the tongue be fixated upon? Therein, the body is not fixated upon. The suchness of the body is not fixated upon. If the body itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the body be fixated upon? Therein, the mind is not fixated upon. The suchness of the mind is not fixated upon. If the mind itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of the mind be fixated upon? Therein, form is not fixated upon. The suchness of form is not fixated upon. If form itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of form be fixated upon? Therein, sound is not fixated upon. The suchness of sound is not fixated upon. If sound itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of sound be fixated upon? Therein, smell is not fixated upon. The suchness of smell is not fixated upon. If smell itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of smell be fixated upon? Therein, taste is not fixated upon. The suchness of taste is not fixated upon. If taste itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of taste be fixated upon? Therein, touch is not fixated upon. The suchness of touch is not fixated upon. If touch itself is not fixated upon, how could the suchness of touch be fixated upon? Therein, dharmas are not fixated upon. The suchness of dharmas is not fixated upon. If dharmas themselves are not fixated upon, how could the suchness of dharmas be fixated upon? Therein, eye consciousness is not fixated upon.
