and therefore not grasped by the eight liberations, not grasped by the nine successive states of cessation, not grasped by the doors of liberation of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, not grasped by the superknowledges, not grasped by the concentrations, not grasped by the doors of dharani, not grasped by the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, not grasped by the four fearlessnesses, not grasped by the four analytical knowledges, not grasped by the great loving-kindness, not grasped by the great compassion, not grasped by the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, not grasped by the knowledge of all things, not grasped by the knowledge of the aspects of the path, not grasped by the knowledge of all aspects. Furthermore, Subhuti, it is like this: for example, a person who is one hundred and twenty years old, who is decrepit and frail, who is in decline, who is afflicted by wind, bile, phlegm, or a combination of diseases, if he wants to get up from his bed, then two strong men grab his left and right arms, support him, and say, 'Hey, sir, wherever you want to go for the sake of what you like, we will take you there.' 'You are supported by us, and you will not be afraid of falling on the road because of stones and rubble before you reach your destination.' Similarly, Subhuti, for a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who has faith, patience, diligence, superior intention, joy, delight, non-abandonment, and non-renunciation of diligence for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, then he is grasped by the Perfection of Wisdom, grasped by skillful means, grasped by the Perfection of Concentration, grasped by the Perfection of Diligence, grasped by the Perfection of Patience, grasped by the Perfection of Morality, grasped by the Perfection of Generosity, grasped by inner emptiness.
