When this profound Prajnaparamita is taught, one becomes dull, one becomes foolish, the mind becomes dejected, and the state of mind changes. Furthermore, Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-mahasattva who has not abandoned the extreme of the past, even if he hears of the emptiness of non-abandonment, does not fully inquire, does not fully examine, then when this profound Prajnaparamita is taught, he becomes dull, he becomes foolish, his mind becomes dejected, and his state of mind changes. Furthermore, Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-mahasattva who has not abandoned the extreme of the past, even if he hears of the emptiness of inherent nature, does not fully inquire, does not fully examine, then when this profound Prajnaparamita is taught, he becomes dull, he becomes foolish, his mind becomes dejected, and his state of mind changes. Furthermore, Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-mahasattva who has not abandoned the extreme of the past, even if he hears of the emptiness of all dharmas, does not fully inquire, does not fully examine, then when this profound Prajnaparamita is taught, he becomes dull, he becomes foolish, his mind becomes dejected, and his state of mind changes. Furthermore, Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva-mahasattva who has not abandoned the extreme of the past, even if he hears of the emptiness of self-nature, does not fully inquire, does not fully examine, then when this profound Prajnaparamita is taught, he becomes dull, he becomes foolish, his mind becomes dejected, and his state of mind changes.
