It is not a mind possessed by hatred, nor is it a mind free from hatred. Why is that? Subhuti, the two minds do not accompany or touch each other. Subhuti, thus the Tathagata knows as it is, that the minds of those beings are free from hatred, and it is called a mind free from hatred. Subhuti, does the Tathagata know as it is, that the minds of those beings are free from delusion, and it is called a mind free from delusion? Subhuti, that which is called a mind free from delusion, is not a mind possessed by delusion, nor is it a mind free from delusion. Why is that? Subhuti, the two minds do not accompany or touch each other. Subhuti, thus the Tathagata knows as it is, that the minds of those beings are free from delusion, and it is called a mind free from delusion. Furthermore, Subhuti, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, the Tathagata knows as it is, that the minds of other beings and persons are vast, and it is called a vast mind. Subhuti, relying on this Prajnaparamita, does the Tathagata know as it is, that the minds of other beings and persons are vast, and it is called a vast mind? Subhuti, in this, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, does not make the minds of other beings and persons become vast, does not make that mind become small, does not make that mind increase, does not make that mind decrease, does not make that mind come, does not make that mind go. Because that mind has no substance, it does not become vast, it does not become small, it does not increase, it does not decrease, it does not come, it does not go, thus it is known. Why is that? Because it is like this, the mind has no inherent nature that can make it become vast, or become small, or increase, or decrease, or come, or go.

Thus, Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, truly knows the minds of other sentient beings and individuals to be vast, calling it vastness of mind. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, truly knows the minds of other sentient beings and individuals to be expansive, calling it expansiveness of mind. Subhuti, how does the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, truly know the minds of other sentient beings and individuals to be expansive, calling it expansiveness of mind? Subhuti, in this, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, does not see a place of coming for the minds of other sentient beings and individuals, does not see a place of going, does not see a place of arising, does not see a place of ceasing, does not see a place of abiding, does not see a place of change from abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, that mind does not have such a nature that it can come, go, arise, cease, abide, or change from abiding. Thus, Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, truly knows the minds of other sentient beings and individuals to be expansive, calling it expansiveness of mind. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Perfection of Wisdom, truly knows the minds of other sentient beings and individuals to be immeasurable, calling it immeasurability of mind.

If asked, how does the Tathagata truly and completely know what is called "immeasurable mind"? Subhuti, in this case, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, does not truly observe whether the minds of other sentient beings and individuals abide, does not truly observe whether they abide in a changing manner, does not truly observe whether they abide completely, does not truly observe whether they abide closely, and so on. Why is that? Subhuti, the continuum of mind is without support and immeasurable, because those continuums of mind have no support on which to abide. Subhuti, therefore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, truly and completely knows the immeasurable minds of other sentient beings and individuals, and calls it "immeasurable mind." Furthermore, Subhuti, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, truly and completely knows the invisible minds of other sentient beings and individuals, and calls it "invisible mind." Subhuti, if asked, how does the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, truly and completely know the invisible minds of other sentient beings and individuals, and call it "invisible mind"? Subhuti, in this case, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One knows the mind without characteristics, because its own nature is emptiness, therefore it is called "mind without characteristics." Subhuti, therefore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, truly and completely knows the invisible minds of other sentient beings and individuals, and calls it "invisible mind." Furthermore, Subhuti, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this
