Even if each Sugata completely liberates countless and immeasurable beings from suffering, the realm of sentient beings, Blessed One, neither decreases nor increases. Why is that? Because sentient beings are inexhaustible, and sentient beings are endless. Similarly, if each of the ten directions were filled with worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, like a reed thicket, a sugarcane grove, a molasses tree forest, a bamboo grove, a rice field, or a sesame field, completely filled with many Tathagatas. And those Tathagatas would teach the Dharma for a kalpa or the remainder of a kalpa. Even if each Tathagata completely liberates countless and immeasurable beings from suffering, the realm of sentient beings neither decreases nor increases. Why is that? Because sentient beings are inexhaustible, and sentient beings are endless. Blessed One, in this way, I say that for the sake of sentient beings, those who seek to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment should completely ripen space and should completely liberate it. At that time, a certain monk thought to himself: For what Dharma is there neither arising nor ceasing, and there is also the aggregate of morality, there is also the aggregate of concentration, there is also the aggregate of wisdom, there is also the aggregate of liberation, there is also the aggregate of the knowledge and vision of liberation, there is also the fruit of stream-entry, there is also the fruit of once-returning, there is also the fruit of non-returning, there is also the state of an Arhat, there is also self-awakening, there is also unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, there is also a stream-enterer, there is also a once-returner and a non-returner, there is also an Arhat, there is also a solitary Buddha, there is also a Tathagata, an Arhat, a perfectly enlightened Buddha, there is also the Buddha Jewel, there is also the Dharma Jewel, there is also the Sangha Jewel, and there is also the turning of the wheel of Dharma. I pay homage to the Blessed One, the Perfection of Wisdom. Thinking thus, and then the lord of the gods,

Indra said: Subhuti, endowed with life, if there is a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who diligently practices this profound Prajñāpāramitā, what does he diligently practice? Subhuti said: Kauśika, whoever intends to study this Prajñāpāramitā is diligently practicing emptiness of space. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how should I protect, support, and rescue a son or daughter of good family who holds, writes, recites, comprehends, and properly contemplates this Prajñāpāramitā? Blessed One, please instruct me. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: Kauśika, have you truly seen such a Dharma that needs to be protected, supported, and rescued? Indra said: Venerable Subhuti, I have not truly seen such a Dharma that needs to be protected, supported, and rescued. Subhuti said: Kauśika, if a son or daughter of good family abides in the Prajñāpāramitā as taught, that itself will be their protection, support, and rescue. If they are separated from the Prajñāpāramitā as taught, then humans or non-humans who seek opportunities will find opportunities. Whoever does not trust in the Prajñāpāramitā as taught, that son or daughter of good family should be known as separated from the Prajñāpāramitā. Kauśika, whoever thinks of protecting, supporting, and rescuing Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who practice Prajñāpāramitā is thinking of protecting, supporting, and rescuing space. That will not be accomplished as desired and will become a weary fate. Kauśika, what do you think? About illusions, mirages, dreams, echoes, eye diseases, and so on,
