If one does not practice in this way, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because the Noble Eightfold Path, which is permanent or impermanent, happy or suffering, self or selfless, pure or impure, is not like that. If one does not practice in the Noble Truths, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not practice in the Noble Truths as permanent or impermanent, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not practice in the Noble Truths as happy or suffering, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not practice in the Noble Truths as self or selfless, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom.
