It also works. If one does not cling to "I" or "not-I" with regard to the right abandonment (severance), then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not cling to "suffering" or "non-suffering" with regard to the right abandonment (severance), then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because whatever is permanent or impermanent, pleasure or pain, self or non-self, pure or impure, there is no such right abandonment (severance). If one does not cling to the miraculous feet, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not cling to "permanent" or "impermanent" with regard to the miraculous feet, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. If one does not cling to "pleasure" or "pain" with regard to the miraculous feet, then one practices in the Perfection of Wisdom. It is practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. If one does not practice with the view that the powers are permanent or impermanent, one is practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. If one does not practice with the view that the powers are pleasurable or painful, one is practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. If one does not practice with the view that the powers are self (梵文:Atman,आत्मा,ātman,我) or non-self (梵文:Anatman,अनात्मा,anātman,无我), one is practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. If one does not practice with the view that the powers are pure or impure, one is practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. Why is that? Because such powers that are permanent or impermanent, pleasurable or painful, self (梵文:Atman,आत्मा,ātman,我) or non-self (梵文:Anatman,अनात्मा,anātman,无我), pure or impure, do not exist.
