Knowledge of the aspects of the path itself is without substance. Knowledge of all aspects itself is without substance. If one knows this, then the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva should completely dedicate the object of merit that possesses rejoicing to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. If one completely dedicates in this way, it will become completely dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said to the Venerable Subhūti: Venerable Subhūti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who has newly entered the vehicle hears this teaching, will he not be afraid, frightened, or terrified? Venerable Subhūti, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who has newly entered the vehicle completely dedicate those roots of virtue to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? How can he completely grasp the object of merit that possesses rejoicing and completely dedicate it to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? Then, the venerable Subhūti, looking at the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva Maitreya, said this to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: Kauśika, if that Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who has newly entered the vehicle practices the Perfection of Wisdom, and practices the Perfection of Wisdom in a way that does not cling and in a way that is without characteristics,
