In that which is the Perfection of Wisdom, liberations being permanent or impermanent is not seen. If there is not even liberation itself, how could permanence or impermanence exist? Kausika, those sons or daughters of good family who teach in that way are not teaching the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kausika, furthermore, those sons and daughters of good family teach the Perfection of Wisdom in this way to those sons and daughters of good family who are of the Mahayana: "Come, son of good family, you should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom. Do not properly regard the successively abiding samadhis as impermanent." Why is that? Because the successively abiding samadhis are all empty of inherent existence. Whatever exists is without entity. Whatever is without entity is the Perfection of Wisdom. In that Perfection of Wisdom, concentrations are not observed as either permanent or impermanent. If concentration itself does not exist, how can permanence or impermanence be considered? Thus it is taught. Kausika, those sons or daughters of good family who teach in this way do not show the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kausika, furthermore, those sons and daughters of good family teach the Perfection of Wisdom in this way to those sons and daughters of good family who are of the Mahayana Bodhisattva lineage: Come, son of good family, you should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom. Do not truly regard the doors of dharani as impermanent. Why is that? The doors of dharani are empty by their very nature. Whatever is the nature of the doors of dharani is without entity. Whatever is without entity is the Perfection of Wisdom. In that Perfection of Wisdom, the doors of dharani are not observed as either permanent or impermanent. If the doors of dharani themselves do not exist, how can permanence or impermanence be considered? Thus it is taught. Kausika, those sons or daughters of good family who teach in this way do not show the image of the Perfection of Wisdom.
