Regarding that Perfection of Wisdom, one does not fixate on the powers as being permanent or impermanent. If even the powers themselves do not exist, how could there be a view of permanence or impermanence? Kausika, those sons or daughters of good family who teach in this way are not truly demonstrating the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Kausika, those sons and daughters of good family, to those sons and daughters of good family who are of the Great Vehicle, teach the Perfection of Wisdom in this way: 'Come, son of good family, you should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom! Do not truly regard the limbs of enlightenment as impermanent.' Why is that? Because the limbs of enlightenment are empty of inherent existence. The inherent existence of the limbs of enlightenment is the absence of things. That absence of things is the Perfection of Wisdom. Regarding that Perfection of Wisdom, one does not fixate on the limbs of enlightenment as being permanent or impermanent. Thus, the Perfection of Wisdom is taught. Come, son of good family, you should practice the Perfection of Wisdom. Do not truly follow after the immeasurable, saying it is impermanent. Why is that? Because the immeasurable is empty of inherent nature. Whatever is the inherent nature of the immeasurable, that is non-thing. Whatever is non-thing, that is the Perfection of Wisdom. In that Perfection of Wisdom, the immeasurable is not seen as permanent or impermanent. If the immeasurable itself is not there, how can permanence or impermanence exist? Thus it is taught. Kauśika, those sons or daughters of good family who teach in this way do not show the image of the Perfection of Wisdom.
