without such understanding. The perfection of meditation is meaningful and should be explained with words. Without such understanding, the perfection of diligence is meaningful and should be explained with words. Without such understanding, the perfection of patience is meaningful and should be explained with words. Without such understanding, the perfection of discipline is meaningful and should be explained with words. Without such understanding, the perfection of generosity is meaningful and should be explained with words. Why is that? Kauśika, in the future, some sons or daughters of good families will show images of the Prajñāpāramitā to those who are on the Bodhisattva path. There, whichever son or daughter of good family, who has entered into the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment, if they hear that image, they will lose their way. Therefore, this Prajñāpāramitā, which is meaningful and has words, should be explained to them. Indra asked: Blessed One, what is the image of the Prajñāpāramitā? The Blessed One replied: Kauśika, here, some sons or daughters of good families think that they are explaining the Prajñāpāramitā, and those people are showing images. Indra asked: How do those sons or daughters of good families show the image of the Prajñāpāramitā? The Blessed One replied: Kauśika, here, some sons or daughters of good families, when they explain the Prajñāpāramitā, are showing the image of the Prajñāpāramitā. For them, this is the image of the Prajñāpāramitā. Like this, they declare that form is impermanent. They declare that form is suffering. They declare that form is without self. They declare that form is impure. Like this, whoever acts in that way is said to be practicing the Prajñāpāramitā. For those who are taught, they will also think that form is impermanent. They will also think that form is suffering.
