Because by learning this perfection of wisdom, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas of the past, future, and present, have attained, are attaining, and will attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Kauśika! If a certain son or daughter of good family, towards the countless and immeasurable Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas in the southwest direction, until the end of their lives, offers flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, pennants, various musical instruments, and all means of comfort, with service, reverence, respect, and worship, compared to that, Kauśika! If a certain son or daughter of good family extensively explains this perfection of wisdom to others, and narrates it in various ways with words, that is, teaches, explains and analyzes, making it clear and correctly shown, then the merit of that son or daughter of good family will greatly increase. 種姓之女，若以上方之如來、應供、正遍知，無量無數之佛陀，乃至生命存續期間，以花、鬘、香、塗香、粉、衣、傘、幢、幡、各種樂器及一切安樂資具供養、恭敬、尊重、崇拜、作禮拜，不如俱希迦種姓之子或種姓之女，對他人廣說此般若波羅蜜多，使其具足意義、具足文字，以多種方式講述、開示、解釋、分析、闡明、如實指示，則此種姓之子或種姓之女之福德更為增長。為何如此？因依此般若波羅蜜多，過去、未來、現在之如來、應供、正遍知諸佛，皆已現證、正證、將證無上正等菩提。俱希迦，再者，若有種姓之子或種姓之女，以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行布施波羅蜜多；以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行持戒波羅蜜多；以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行忍辱波羅蜜多；以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行精進波羅蜜多；以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行禪定波羅蜜多；以無量無數劫，以作意之方式，行般若波羅蜜多，不如若有人對他人廣說此般若波羅蜜多，使其具足意義、具足文字，以不作意之方式，講述、開示、解釋、詳細解釋、分析、闡明、如實指示。

A daughter of good family, if she makes offerings, respects, honors, reveres, and worships the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas, countless in number, in the directions above, with flowers, garlands, incense, perfumes, powders, garments, umbrellas, banners, flags, various musical instruments, and all kinds of comfortable necessities, for as long as she lives, it is not as good as if a son or daughter of good family of Kauśika extensively speaks to others about this Perfection of Wisdom, making it meaningful and literal, explaining, teaching, elucidating, analyzing, clarifying, and accurately indicating it in many ways. The merit of that son or daughter of good family will increase greatly. Why is that? Because by learning this Perfection of Wisdom, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas of the past, future, and present have fully awakened to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Kauśika, furthermore, if a son or daughter of good family practices the Perfection of Giving with intentionality for countless eons, practices the Perfection of Morality with intentionality for countless eons, practices the Perfection of Patience with intentionality for countless eons, practices the Perfection of Diligence with intentionality for countless eons, practices the Perfection of Meditation with intentionality for countless eons, and practices the Perfection of Wisdom with intentionality for countless eons, it is not as good as if someone extensively speaks to others about this Perfection of Wisdom, making it meaningful and literal, without intentionality, explaining, teaching, elucidating, elaborating, analyzing, clarifying, and accurately indicating it.
