Those relics are worthy of offerings. Those relics of the Blessed One Tathagata are the containers of the Dharma-nature of the Paramitas. Those relics of the Tathagata are completely possessed by the Dharma-nature of the Paramitas. Therefore, even though the Tathagata has passed away, those relics of the Tathagata are worthy of offerings. Furthermore, let alone whether this world of the three thousand great thousand worlds can be filled with the relics of the Tathagata. Blessed One, if the worlds of the ten directions, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, were filled with the relics of the Tathagata, and if the Prajnaparamita written on palm leaves were bestowed, Blessed One, among those two, I would take this Prajnaparamita. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, because what arises from this is the relics of the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, which are worthy of offerings. Blessed One, because the Prajnaparamita is completely possessed, those relics of the Tathagata are worthy of many offerings. Blessed One, whether it is a son of good family or a daughter of good family, whoever makes offerings to the relics of the Tathagata, pays homage, respects, and reveres them, then the limit of that root of virtue is invisible. Whether it is the greatness and sublimity of the Kshatriya caste, or the greatness and sublimity of the Brahmin caste, or the greatness and sublimity of the householder caste, or the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, or the Thirty-three Gods, or the Yama Gods, or the Tushita Gods, or the Nirmanarati Gods, or the beings of the Paranirmita-vasavartin Gods, experiencing the perfections and happiness of humans and gods, and through that very root of virtue, they will reach the end of suffering. Therefore, the result of offering to the relics of the Tathagata is so great. If one holds, recites, writes, understands, and properly attends to this Prajnaparamita, then the Paramita of Dhyana will be perfected. The Paramita of Diligence will be perfected. The Paramita of Patience...
