世尊，甚多。善逝，甚多。世尊告言： कौशिका (kauśika， कौशिका，憍尸迦， कौशिका)， 较之，无论善男子或善女子，若书写、受持、读诵、精通、如理作意此般若波罗蜜多，并为他人广为宣说，且不离一切种智之心，于其上以鲜花、花鬘、熏香、涂香、粉末、衣服、伞盖、幢幡、铃钹等种种供品，恭敬、尊重、供养、礼拜，其福德亦将倍增。 कौशिका (kauśika， कौशिका，憍尸迦， कौशिका)， 莫说一座佛塔， कौशिका (kauśika， कौशिका，憍尸迦， कौशिका)， 假若有善男子或善女子，于如来圆寂后，为作供养，以七宝造满此赡部洲之佛塔，高一逾缮那，广半逾缮那，并于其上直至寿尽，以天物之鲜花、天物之花鬘、天物之熏香、天物之涂香、天物之粉末、天物之法衣、天物之衣服、天物之伞盖、天物之幢幡、天物之宝幢、及众多天物之铃钹，恭敬、尊重、供养、无间供奉， कौशिका (kauśika， कौशिका，憍尸迦， कौशिका)， 你怎么想？因此，该善男子或善女子之福德增多吗？ 帝释天禀白：世尊，甚多。善逝，甚多。世尊告言： कौशिका (kauśika， कौशिका，憍尸迦， कौशिका)， 较之，无论善男子或善女子，若书写、受持、读诵、精通、如理作意此般若波罗蜜多，且不离一切种智之心，于其上以鲜花、花鬘、熏香、涂香、粉末、衣服、伞盖、幢幡、宝幢、铃钹等种种供品，恭敬、尊重、供养、礼拜，其福德亦将倍增。

Lord, it is much. Sugata, it is much. The Lord said: Kausika, more than that, whatever son or daughter of good family writes, holds, recites, masters, properly attends to this Perfection of Wisdom, and extensively shows it to others, and does not separate from the mind of all-knowingness, and above that, with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, streamers, and various kinds of cymbals, makes offerings, honors, respects, and worships, then that merit will increase even more. Kausika, let alone one stupa! Kausika, if any son or daughter of good family, after the Tathagata has completely passed into nirvana, for the sake of making offerings, fills this Jambudvipa with stupas made of the seven precious things, one yojana in height and half a yojana in width, and on those, until the end of life, with divine flowers, divine garlands, divine incense, divine unguents, divine powders, divine Dharma robes, divine clothes, divine umbrellas, divine banners, divine streamers, and many divine cymbals, makes offerings, honors, respects, and continuously worships, Kausika, what do you think? Therefore, does the merit of that son or daughter of good family increase greatly? Indra replied: Lord, it is much. Sugata, it is much. The Lord said: Kausika, more than that, whatever son or daughter of good family writes, holds, recites, masters, and properly attends to this Perfection of Wisdom, and does not separate from the mind of all-knowingness, and above that, with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, streamers, and various kinds of cymbals, makes offerings, honors, respects, and worships, then that merit will increase even more.

Kausika, if any son or daughter of good family, after the complete Nirvana of the Tathagata, for the sake of offering, fills this four-continent world with stupas made of the seven precious substances, each stupa being one krosha in height and half a krosha in width, and continuously serves, respects, honors, and constantly makes offerings to them with divine flowers, divine garlands, divine incense, divine unguents, divine powders, divine religious robes, divine garments, divine umbrellas, divine banners, divine victory banners, and many divine musical instruments until the end of their lives. Kausika, what do you think? Would the merit of that son or daughter of good family increase greatly? Indra replied: Bhagavan, it would increase greatly. Sugata, it would increase greatly. The Bhagavan said: Kausika, even more so, if any son or daughter of good family makes this Perfection of Wisdom into a book, holds it, recites it, understands it completely, properly attends to it, and after writing it, serves, respects, honors, and makes offerings with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, garments, umbrellas, banners, victory banners, and various musical instruments, then their merit will increase even more greatly. Kausika, let alone this four-continent world being completely filled with stupas of the Tathagata.
