It is called "pa." Son of the venerable Sharadvati, the paramita of meditation also exists in the worldly, and also exists in the transcendental. What is the worldly paramita of meditation? Son of the venerable Sharadvati, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva enters into meditation, and also enters with attachment, thinking thus: I enter into meditation for the benefit of all sentient beings. This is meditation. I act as the Buddha said. Entering into that meditation, also in a non-attached manner, shared with all sentient beings, dedicating it to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and dedicating it thus: By this fruit of my meditation, may these sentient beings in this life obtain happiness, without approaching, may they be completely liberated from suffering. Like this, being attached to oneself, being attached to others, being attached to meditation, and being attached to these three attachments, entering into meditation, this is called the worldly paramita of meditation. It is like this, not shaking, not leaping, not transcending from the world, therefore it is called worldly. What is the transcendental paramita of meditation? Like this, the three circles are completely pure. What is the complete purity of the three circles? Son of the venerable Sharadvati, here, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva enters into meditation, not being attached to self, not being attached to sentient beings, not being attached to meditation, and also not delighting in the ripening fruit, that meditation is also given to all sentient beings, and also not being attached to those sentient beings, dedicating it to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, even not truly seeing a tiny sign, this is called the transcendental paramita of meditation. It is like this, shaking, leaping, and transcending from the world, therefore it is called transcending from the world. Son of the venerable Sharadvajati, the paramita of wisdom also exists in the worldly, and also exists in the transcendental.

Furthermore, what is mundane Prajñāpāramitā? O venerable Śāradvatīputra, here, a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva cultivates Prajñā, and also cultivates with gan-sa-pa, for the sake of oneself and others, by way of non-objectification, repents all sins, rejoices in all merits, and supplicates all Buddhas. All those roots of virtue are also dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment through non-skillful means. He thinks to himself: I cultivate Prajñā for the sake of all sentient beings. This is Prajñā, I act according to the Buddha's teachings. The cultivation of Prajñā is also done in common with all sentient beings by way of objectification, and dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. By this fruit of my Prajñā, may these sentient beings obtain happiness in this very life, and may they become completely liberated from suffering without attachment. Thus, he dedicates, and he understands himself in this way, understands others, understands Prajñā, and cultivates these three. Cultivating Prajñā is called mundane Prajñāpāramitā. He is thus called mundane because he does not move, shake, or transcend the world. What is supramundane Prajñāpāramitā? It is the complete purification of the three spheres. What is the complete purification of the three spheres? O venerable Śāradvatīputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva cultivates Prajñā, he does not objectify himself, does not objectify sentient beings, does not objectify Prajñā, and does not focus on the ripening of karma. He also gives that Prajñā to all sentient beings, and those sentient beings are also not objectified, and he dedicates it to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and even a small sign is not truly seen. This is called supramundane Prajñāpāramitā. He thus moves, shakes, and transcends the world, therefore it is called supramundane Prajñāpāramitā. O venerable Śāradvatīputra, in this.
