That is, what is "I", what is "sentient being", what is "life", what is "goer", what is "nourisher", what is "person", what is "Pudgala", what is "powerful one", what is "lord of power", what is "doer", what is "feeler", what is "knower", what is "seer", what is the inconceivable realm, what is the lineage ground, what is the eighth ground, what is the seeing ground, what is the thinned ground, what is the ground free from desire, what is the ground of action and realization, what is space, what is the Great Vehicle, what is immeasurable, what is insatiable, what is unfathomable, what are all dharmas, all these are because there is no object. Subhuti. Furthermore, because there is no self, it should be understood that there is no sentient being. Because there is no sentient being, it should be understood that there is no life. Because there is no life, it should be understood that there is no goer. Because there is no goer, it should be understood that there is no nourisher. Because there is no nourisher, it should be understood that there is no person. Because there is no person, it should be understood that there is no Pudgala. Because there is no Pudgala, it should be understood that there is no powerful one. Because there is no powerful one, it should be understood that there is no lord of power. Because there is no lord of power, it should be understood that there is no doer. Because there is no doer, it should be understood that there is no feeler. Because there is no feeler, it should be understood that there is no knower. Because there is no knower, it should be understood that there is no seer. Because there is no seer, it should be understood that there is no inconceivable realm. Because there is no inconceivable realm, it should be understood that there is no stream-enterer. Because there is no stream-enterer, it should be understood that there is no once-returner. Because there is no once-returner, it should be understood that there is no non-returner. Because there is no non-returner, it should be understood that there is no Arhat. Because there is no Arhat, it should be understood that there is no space. Because there is no space, it should be understood that there is no Great Vehicle.

Because there is no greatness, it should be understood that there is no immeasurability. Because there is no immeasurability, it should be understood that there is no unsatisfiability. Because there is no unsatisfiability, it should be understood that there is no unlimitability. Because there is no unlimitability, it should be understood that all dharmas do not exist. Subhuti, by these various means, the Great Vehicle awakens immeasurable and countless sentient beings. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because whatever is 'self,' whatever is 'sentient being,' whatever is 'life,' whatever is 'goer,' whatever is 'nourisher,' whatever is 'man,' whatever is 'pudgala,' whatever is 'powerful one,' whatever is 'lord of power,' whatever is 'maker,' whatever is 'feeler,' whatever is 'knower,' whatever is 'seer,' whatever is the 'inconceivable realm,' whatever is 'stream-enterer,' whatever is 'once-returner,' whatever is 'non-returner,' whatever is 'arhat,' whatever is 'nama,' whatever is 'kha,' whatever is 'Great Vehicle,' whatever is 'immeasurable,' whatever is 'unsatisfiable,' whatever is 'unlimited,' whatever is 'all dharmas,' all of these are because there is no object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there is no self, it should be understood that there is no sentient being. Because there is no sentient being, it should be understood that there is no life. Because there is no life, it should be understood that there is no goer. Because there is no goer, it should be understood that there is no nourisher. Because there is no nourisher, it should be understood that there is no man. Because there is no man, it should be understood that there is no pudgala. Because there is no pudgala, it should be understood that there is no powerful one. Because there is no powerful one, it should be understood that there is no lord of power. Because there is no lord of power, it should be understood that there is no maker. Because there is no maker, it should be understood that there is no feeler. Because there is no feeler, it should be understood that there is no knower. Because there is no knower, it should be understood that there is no seer. Because there is no seer, it should be understood that there is no inconceivable realm. Because there is no inconceivable realm, it should be understood that there is no pratyekabuddha. Because there is no pratyekabuddha,
