Because there is no feeling, there is no space. It should be understood that there is no space. Because there is no space, it should be understood that there is no Mahayana. Because there is no Mahayana, it should be understood that there is no immeasurable. Because there is no immeasurable, it should be understood that there is no insatiable. Because there is no insatiable, it should be understood that there is no inconceivable. Because there is no inconceivable, it should be understood that there are no all dharmas. Subhuti, by these names, the great vehicle can also awaken immeasurable and countless sentient beings. Why is that? Subhuti, it is like this: what is self (Tibetan: བདག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आत्म, Sanskrit Romanization: ātma, Chinese literal meaning: self), what is sentient being (Tibetan: སེམས་ཅན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सत्त्व, Sanskrit Romanization: sattva, Chinese literal meaning: sentient being), what is life (Tibetan: སྲོག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जीव, Sanskrit Romanization: jīva, Chinese literal meaning: life), what is goer (Tibetan: འགྲོ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गन्ता, Sanskrit Romanization: gantā, Chinese literal meaning: goer), what is nourisher (Tibetan: གསོ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पोषक, Sanskrit Romanization: poṣaka, Chinese literal meaning: nourisher), what is purusha (Tibetan: སྐྱེས་བུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुरुष, Sanskrit Romanization: puruṣa, Chinese literal meaning: man), what is pudgala (Tibetan: གང་ཟག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुद्गल, Sanskrit Romanization: pudgala, Chinese literal meaning: person), what is powerful one (Tibetan: ཤེད་ཅན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बलवत्, Sanskrit Romanization: balavat, Chinese literal meaning: powerful one), what is lord of power (Tibetan: ཤེད་བདག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: बलपति, Sanskrit Romanization: balapati, Chinese literal meaning: lord of power), what is doer (Tibetan: བྱེད་པ་པོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: कारक, Sanskrit Romanization: kāraka, Chinese literal meaning: doer), what is feeler (Tibetan: ཚོར་བ་པོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वेधक, Sanskrit Romanization: vedaka, Chinese literal meaning: feeler), what is knower (Tibetan: ཤེས་པ་པོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्ञाता, Sanskrit Romanization: jñātā, Chinese literal meaning: knower), what is seer (Tibetan: མཐོང་བ་པོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: द्रष्टृ, Sanskrit Romanization: draṣṭṛ, Chinese literal meaning: seer), what is the inconceivable realm (Tibetan: བསམ་གྱིས་མྱི་ཁྱབ་པའི་དབྱིངས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अचिन्त्यधातु, Sanskrit Romanization: acintyadhātu, Chinese literal meaning: inconceivable realm), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the eye (Tibetan: མྱིག་གི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: चक्षुःसंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: cakṣuḥsaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: eye-contact-born feeling), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the ear (Tibetan: རྣ་བའི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: श्रोत्रसंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: śrotrasaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: ear-contact-born feeling), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the nose (Tibetan: སྣའི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: घ्राणसंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: ghrāṇasaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: nose-contact-born feeling), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the tongue (Tibetan: ལྕེའི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: जिह्वासंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: jihvāsaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: tongue-contact-born feeling), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the body (Tibetan: ལུས་ཀྱི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: कायसंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: kāyasaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: body-contact-born feeling), what is the feeling born from the condition of contact of the mind (Tibetan: ཡིད་ཀྱི་འདུས་ཏེ་རེག་པའི་རྐྱེན་ཀྱིས་ཚོར་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मनःसंस्पर्शप्रत्ययवेदना, Sanskrit Romanization: manaḥsaṃsparśapratyayavedanā, Chinese literal meaning: mind-contact-born feeling), what is space (Tibetan: ནམ་མཁའ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आकाश, Sanskrit Romanization: ākāśa, Chinese literal meaning: space), what is Mahayana (Tibetan: ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: महायान, Sanskrit Romanization: mahāyāna, Chinese literal meaning: Mahayana), what is immeasurable (Tibetan: མྱི་འཇལ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अप्रमेय, Sanskrit Romanization: aprameya, Chinese literal meaning: immeasurable), what is insatiable (Tibetan: མྱི་འགྲངས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अतृप्त, Sanskrit Romanization: atṛpta, Chinese literal meaning: insatiable), what is inconceivable (Tibetan: མྱི་དཔོགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अचिन्त्य, Sanskrit Romanization: acintya, Chinese literal meaning: inconceivable), what are all dharmas (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्वधर्म, Sanskrit Romanization: sarvadharma, Chinese literal meaning: all dharmas), all of these are without object. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there is no self, it should be understood that there is no sentient being. Because there is no sentient being, it should be understood that there is no life. Because there is no life, it should be understood that there is no goer. Because there is no goer, it should be understood that there is no nourisher. Because there is no nourisher, it should be understood that there is no purusha. Because there is no purusha, it should be understood that there is no pudgala. Because there is no pudgala, it should be understood that there is no powerful one. Because there is no powerful one, it should be understood that there is no lord of power. Because there is no lord of power, it should be understood that there is no doer.

Therefore, it should be understood that there is no feeler. Because there is no feeler, it should be understood that there is no knower. Because there is no knower, it should be understood that there is no seer. Because there is no seer, it should be understood that there is no inconceivable realm. Because there is no inconceivable realm, it should be understood that there is no earth element. Because there is no earth element, it should be understood that there is no water element. Because there is no water element, it should be understood that there is no fire element. Because there is no fire element, it should be understood that there is no wind element. Because there is no wind element, it should be understood that there is no space element. Because there is no space element, it should be understood that there is no consciousness element. Because there is no consciousness element, it should be understood that there is no space. Because there is no space, it should be understood that there is no Mahayana. Subhuti, that is, what is this self, what is this sentient being, what is this life, what is this going, what is this nourishing, what is this man, what is this person, what is this powerful one, what is this lord of power, what is this doer, what is this feeler, what is this knower, what is this seer, what is this inconceivable realm, what is this earth element, what is this water element, what is this fire element, what is this wind element, what is this space element, what is this consciousness element, what is this space, what is this Mahayana, what is this immeasurable, what is this unfulfilled, what is this unfathomable, what are all these dharmas, all of them are without an object. Subhuti, furthermore, because there is no self, it should be understood that there is no sentient being.
