Thus viewing it, for example, designation is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is also neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, thus viewing it, for example, expression is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is also neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, thus viewing it, for example, imputation is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is also neither abiding nor non-abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, in the nature of name, there is neither abiding nor non-abiding. In the nature of sign, there is neither abiding nor non-abiding. In the nature of designation, there is neither abiding nor non-abiding. In the nature of expression, there is neither abiding nor non-abiding. In the nature of imputation, there is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, therefore, the nature of name is empty by the nature of name. The nature of sign is empty by the nature of sign. The nature of designation is empty by the nature of designation. The nature of expression is empty by the nature of expression. The nature of imputation is empty by the nature of imputation. Subhuti, thus viewing it, for example, non-arising is neither abiding nor non-abiding.

In the nature of being, there is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. In the nature of non-cessation, there is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. In the nature of being without all afflictions, there is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. In the nature of being without complete purification, there is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. What is the reason for this? Subhuti, it is because the nature of non-arising is empty of the nature of non-arising. The nature of non-cessation is empty of the nature of non-cessation. The nature of being without all afflictions is empty of the nature of being without all afflictions. The nature of being without complete purification is empty of the nature of being without complete purification. Subhuti, for example, that which is without manifestation and activity is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. What is the reason for this? Subhuti, in the nature of being without manifestation and activity, there is neither dwelling nor non-dwelling. What is the reason for this? Subhuti, it is because the nature of being without manifestation and activity is empty of the nature of being without manifestation and activity. The Hundred Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, Volume Seventeen. Subhuti, by those names, the Great Vehicle, in the manner of dwelling without dwelling, in the manner of being immovable, will not dwell anywhere. Subhuti, whatever you have said, saying that vehicle will produce someone, that vehicle will not produce anyone. What is the reason for this? Subhuti, it is because all those dharmas, what that vehicle is, who will be produced, who will be produced by what, and from where they will be produced, are all non-existent and invisible. Thus, if all dharmas are non-existent and invisible, what dharma will be produced by what dharma? What is the reason for this? Subhuti, it is because the self is utterly pure, sentient beings are utterly pure, life is utterly pure, the goer is utterly pure, the nourisher is utterly pure, the person is
