Those spheres of nothingness, and those spheres of neither perception nor non-perception, contemplating them as aspects of impermanence, aspects of suffering, aspects of selflessness, aspects of peace, aspects of emptiness, aspects of signlessness, and aspects of wishlessness, yet not fixating on those concentrations, those immeasurables, and those formless absorptions, and not boasting of them, this is the Perfection of Wisdom of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Sharadvatiputra, this is the Great Vehicle in which a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Sharadvatiputra, the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is to cultivate the four mindfulnesses in all aspects, to cultivate the four right abandonments in all aspects, to cultivate the four legs of miraculous power in all aspects, to cultivate the five faculties in all aspects, to cultivate the five powers in all aspects, to cultivate the seven branches of enlightenment in all aspects, to cultivate the eightfold noble path in all aspects, and to cultivate the noble truths in all aspects.

Practicing without mixing, practicing omniscience in all aspects, practicing knowing the aspects of the path in all aspects, and practicing omniscience in all aspects. Sharadvatiputra, endowed with life, this is the Mahayana of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Furthermore, Sharadvatiputra, endowed with life, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of loving-kindness, and is devoted to it, thinking, "I shall completely liberate all sentient beings." Abiding in the samadhi of compassion, they have compassion and affection for sentient beings. Abiding in the samadhi of joy, they think of sentient beings, "I shall liberate them myself." Abiding in the samadhi of equanimity, they are utterly devoted to causing the cessation of the defilements of sentient beings. This is the perfection of generosity practiced by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva towards immeasurable beings. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva abides in and arises from meditation and the aspects, modes, and characteristics of the immeasurable, but does not dedicate it to the Hearer or Solitary Realizer ground, except for dedicating it to omniscience, this is the perfection of discipline, not completely diminished, practiced by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva towards immeasurable beings. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices without mixing meditation, the immeasurable, and the formless attainments, and does not generate desire for the two grounds, the Hearer ground or the Solitary Realizer ground, but has faith and joy in omniscience, this is the perfection of patience practiced by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva towards immeasurable beings. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, having generated a mind endowed with omniscience, practices without abandoning diligence for the sake of completely abandoning non-virtuous dharmas and for the sake of perfecting virtuous dharmas, this is the diligence practiced by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva towards immeasurable beings.

It is the perfection of diligence. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva also abides equally in these concentrations of dhyana, immeasurables, and formless states, and is not reborn by the power of dhyana, immeasurables, and formless states, nor does he enjoy their taste, nor is he robbed by them, this is the perfection of dhyana practiced by Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas towards immeasurable beings. When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with the intention of possessing all-knowingness, also abides equally in and arises from those concentrations of dhyana, immeasurables, and formless states, and also thoroughly contemplates them as impermanent, suffering, selfless, peaceful, empty, signless, and wishless, but also does not enter into the faults of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, this is the perfection of wisdom practiced by Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas towards immeasurable beings. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, this is the Great Vehicle of Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, the Great Vehicle of Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas is: knowing inner emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing outer emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing inner and outer emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing emptiness emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing great emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing ultimate emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing conditioned emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing unconditioned emptiness, but not in a way of clinging; knowing emptiness beyond extremes, but not in a way of clinging; knowing emptiness without beginning or end, but not in a way of clinging; knowing emptiness without abandonment, but not in a way of clinging; knowing emptiness of inherent nature, but not in a way of clinging; knowing all dharmas
