The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such a divine eye perfectly knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the southeastern world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such a divine eye perfectly knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the southwestern world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such a divine eye perfectly knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the northwestern world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such a divine eye perfectly knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the lower world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. The Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who possesses such a divine eye perfectly knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the upper world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. Son of Sharadvati, this is the complete purification of the divine eye of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. The Hundred Thousand Verses on the Perfection of Wisdom, Twelfth Chapter. Asked: O Bhagavan, what is the complete purification of the wisdom eye of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva? The Bhagavan replied: Son of Sharadvati, with what kind of wisdom eye does the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva know all phenomena, whether conditioned or unconditioned, virtuous or non-virtuous, blameworthy or blameless, defiled or undefiled, worldly or beyond worldly, with outflows or without outflows, without exception, and with what kind of wisdom eye does he not see any phenomena?
