However, upon thoroughly examining it as it truly is, there is no object of focus. For example, a cognizer, called a cognizer, is merely a term used in convention. Yet, upon thoroughly examining it as it truly is, it is not observed because of its emptiness, which is without an object of focus. It is merely a name and a symbol, spoken conventionally in a general manner. Similarly, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva engages in the Prajnaparamita, they do not truly see a Bodhisattva. They do not truly see enlightenment. They do not truly see a Buddha. They do not truly see the Prajnaparamita. They do not truly see engaging in the Prajnaparamita. They do not truly see form. They do not truly see feeling. They do not truly see perception. They do not truly see mental formations. They do not truly see consciousness. They do not truly see the name by which something is conventionally named. Thus, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who engages in the Prajnaparamita surpasses all the wisdom of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, up to the wisdom that is not that of the Tathagata, by embracing the emptiness that is without an object of focus. Why is this? It is because whatever they might become attached to is not observed. Sharadvatiputra, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices in this way is one who practices the Prajnaparamita. Sharadvatiputra, even if this Jambudvipa were filled entirely with monks like Sharadvatiputra and Maudgalyayana, like a reed forest, a kusha grass forest, a sugarcane forest, a bamboo grove, a rice field, or a sesame field, the wisdom of those monks would not even come close to one part in a hundred, one part in a thousand, or one part in a hundred thousand of the wisdom of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who engages in the Prajnaparamita.

Shariputra, that is, like this, the wisdom of Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas abides closely for the sake of completely liberating all sentient beings from suffering, but the wisdom of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is not like that. Shariputra, furthermore, the wisdom cultivated by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing Prajnaparamita in just one day also overwhelms and abides over the wisdom of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Shariputra, let alone this Jambudvipa being completely filled with monks like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana. Shariputra, even if the three thousand great thousand world realms were completely filled with monks like you, their wisdom would not even come close to one hundredth of the wisdom of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing Prajnaparamita. It would not even come close to one thousandth. It would not even come close to one hundred thousandth. It would not even come close to one hundred kotis.
