Having gone to the presence of those (Buddhas) who reside, and prostrated at their feet, they joined their palms and paid homage to those Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. Then, at that time, in a single instant, moment, and instant, all the hells of sentient beings as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the lower direction of the world, all places of animal birth, and all the realms of Yama were also cut off. All the unfree states also disappeared, and all those sentient beings were born equally as humans and gods. Then, those humans and gods, with joy, faith, and bliss, remembered their past lives. Having remembered, those who also obtained joy, faith, and bliss, in their respective Buddha fields, having gone to the presence of those Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas who reside, and prostrated at their feet, they joined their palms and paid homage to those Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. Then, at that time, in this three-thousand great thousand world realm, all the blind sentient beings, as many as there were, saw forms with their eyes. The deaf also heard with their ears.

The mute were able to hear. The mad also gained memory. Those with disturbed minds also gained undisturbed minds. Those without clothes also gained clothes. The poor also gained wealth. The hungry also gained food. The thirsty also gained drink. Those afflicted by disease also became free from disease. Those with impaired bodies and incomplete faculties also became complete and full in body and faculties. The weary also found rest. Those who had not abandoned the limits of bodily, verbal, and mental actions, and non-virtuous livelihoods, also abandoned the limits of bodily, verbal, and mental actions, and non-virtuous livelihoods. All sentient beings also developed equanimity towards all sentient beings with minds like those towards a father, mother, brother, sister, friend, relative, and companion. All sentient beings also possessed the path of the ten virtuous actions, practiced celibacy, purity, and were free from the foul smell of faults, and were separated from all non-virtuous thoughts. At that time, all sentient beings possessed such a state of happiness, like the happiness of a monk entering the third dhyana, possessing all such happiness. At that time, sentient beings possessed such wisdom, knowing that giving is virtuous, taming is virtuous, pacifying is virtuous, discipline is virtuous, truth is virtuous, caution is virtuous, love is virtuous, compassion is virtuous, and not harming all living beings is virtuous. At that time, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, residing in other Buddha-fields also said: Alas! These sentient beings, giving is virtuous, taming is virtuous, pacifying is virtuous, discipline is virtuous, truth is virtuous, caution is virtuous, love is virtuous, compassion is virtuous, practicing celibacy is virtuous, and not harming all living beings is virtuous. They possessed such wisdom to know these things.

Oh, how wonderful! Such a special praise is indeed a special praise! At that time, the Bhagavan was seated upon the lion throne. It was like this: for example, like the sun without clouds residing in the completely pure expanse of the sky, or like the orb of the full moon. The realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system, including Mount Meru, including the surrounding environment, including the realms of the gods, including the deities, including the powerful ones, including the classes of gods and asuras, including Brahma, including the pure abodes, was overwhelmed and remained. Light, body color, splendor, and glory were beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant. Just as the Bhagavan overwhelmed this three-thousand great-thousand world system and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory, so too, the world system of the eastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly, the world system of the southern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly, the world system of the western direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly, the world system of the northern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly, the world system of the northeastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly, the world system of the southeastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, was overwhelmed and remained beautiful, vivid, harmonious, and radiant with light, body color, splendor, and glory. Similarly,
