I, having seen the great earthquake and the form of the Tathagata that is impossible to look upon, went to where the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Padmottamaśrī was, and having arrived, I said this to the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Padmottamaśrī: "Bhagavan, what is the cause, what is the reason for such a great light appearing in the world, such a great earthquake, and such a form of the Tathagata?" After saying this, the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Padmottamaśrī said this to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Padmapāṇi: "Son of good family, this is because in the northwest direction, beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, there is a world called Sahā. There dwells the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha named Śākyamuni, who lives and teaches. He teaches the Prajñāpāramitā to the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas. This is his power, it is like that." Then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Padmapāṇi said this to the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Padmottamaśrī: "Bhagavan, I also wish to go to the world of Sahā to see the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Śākyamuni, to pay homage and serve him, and to see those Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas, most of whom are young, who are skilled in dhāraṇīs, who have attained excellent individual perfect knowledge, and who have attained excellent mastery over all samādhis and samāpattis." 大勇士持莲者，以各种珍宝所成、金色、千辐的莲花献上。种姓之子，请以这些莲花供养世尊、如来、阿罗汉、正等觉释迦牟尼。种姓之子，在那佛土中谨慎行事。那是什么缘故呢？因为在那世间界所生的菩萨摩诃萨们，是容易满足而欢喜的，在那里会衰退的。之后，菩萨摩诃萨持莲者从世尊、如来、阿罗汉、正等觉、莲花殊胜吉祥处，取走那些金色、千瓣的莲花，与化现为在家、出家、童男、童女形象的无数百千万俱胝菩萨们一同从佛土隐没，前往东南方，对所有安住、维持生命的诸佛世尊，以鲜花、熏香、燃香、花鬘、涂香、粉末、衣服、饰品、伞盖、胜幢、幡旗等进行侍奉、恭敬、尊重、供养，以菩萨的大神通和菩萨的大威力，前往世尊、如来、阿罗汉、正等觉释迦牟尼所在之处，以头顶礼拜世尊双足，然后退坐于一旁。退坐于一旁后，菩萨摩诃萨持莲者对世尊如此禀告：世尊，如来、阿罗汉、正等觉、莲花殊胜吉祥，世尊您是否安康？没有损害吗？饮食适宜吗？身体康健吗？安乐喜悦吗？这样问候，并将这些金色、千瓣的莲花，由莲花殊胜吉祥的世尊、如来、阿罗汉、正等觉供养世尊。

The great hero, Holder of the Lotus, offered a thousand-spoked lotus flower, golden in color, made of various precious materials. Son of good family, offer these lotuses to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni. Son of good family, act with mindfulness in that Buddha-field. Why is that? Because those Bodhisattvas, great beings, who are born in that world-realm, are easily satisfied and joyful, and they may decline there. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Holder of the Lotus took those golden, thousand-petaled lotuses from the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, the glorious and sacred Lotus, and together with countless hundreds of thousands of kotis of Bodhisattvas appearing in the forms of householders, renunciates, boys, and girls, disappeared from that Buddha-field and went to the southeast. To all the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who dwell and maintain life, they offered flowers, incense, burning incense, garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, ornaments, umbrellas, victory banners, and flags, performing service, showing respect, veneration, and making offerings. With the great miraculous power of the Bodhisattva and the great strength of the Bodhisattva, they went to where the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni was, bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, and sat down to one side. Having sat down to one side, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Holder of the Lotus said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, glorious and sacred Lotus, Blessed One, are you well? Are you free from harm? Is your sustenance agreeable? Is your body healthy? Do you live in ease and joy?" Thus he inquired, and these golden, thousand-petaled lotuses were offered to the Blessed One by the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, the glorious and sacred Lotus.

Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni took those lotuses and scattered them in the southeastern direction, to the worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, to the places where those Tathagatas, the Arhats, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas were. Then, those lotuses spread and covered all those worlds, and many bodies of the Tathagatas resided on those lotuses, and like this, they taught the Dharma starting from these six perfections. Whichever sentient beings heard the Dharma being taught, they would all definitely attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, whether householders, renunciates, boys, or girls, all made offerings to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni with their respective roots of virtue, made reverence, made prostrations, and made worship. Then, in the southwestern direction, beyond the worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, there is a world called Free from Dust. There, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Sun Wheel Light Auspiciousness resides and lives, and he accurately teaches this Perfection of Wisdom to the Bodhisattvas, the Mahasattvas. Then, in that world, there was a Bodhisattva, a Mahasattva named Sun Radiantly Shining, and he saw the great light, the great earthquake, and the Tathagata's body that is impossible to see enough of, so he went to the place where the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Sun Wheel Light Auspiciousness was, and he requested the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Sun Wheel Light Auspiciousness, saying: Blessed One, such a great light has appeared in the world, and
