那里的地面要用油性的东西来处理。庭院、台阶、走道、门房、楼上的墙壁和柱子都要重新修缮。那里的土地要分给僧团。任何池塘的水都要留给四方僧侣的僧团使用。有比丘住在空旷的房间里，行持善法，六群比丘来到那里，说：“我们老了”，然后驱赶他们。世尊开示说：“不要以年长为由，驱赶安住的比丘。如果驱赶，就会犯堕罪。”比丘们做完事后，从座位上站起来，正在行走和坐着的时候，其他人拿走了座位，没有归还，比丘们变得忙乱。比丘们将此事禀告世尊，世尊开示说：“做完事后，从座位上站起来，就不要占据座位。”比丘们长时间坐在座位上，然后站起来行走，六群比丘坐在那里，比丘们将此事禀告世尊，世尊开示说：“不要坐在那里。如果站起来要去行走，就在上面放上法衣或护膝再离开。”故事的起因是在舍卫城。比丘们拿着钵来到寺院，然后一位比丘拿着钵行礼，结果钵被打碎了。另一个人用鞋子敲打僧房的柱子，比丘们开始嘲笑，比丘们将此事禀告世尊，世尊开示说：“我将为进入道路的比丘们制定相应的行为规范。”比丘进入道路，如果看到水，就把钵和法衣放在一边，然后抖掉衣服洗澡。然后洗脚和手，用水聚集起来，用湿布擦拭鞋子，然后在下面洗手，穿好上下的衣服，行为举止安详地进入寺院。如果不是这样，就会犯堕罪。《单独三门经》的偈颂。

The ground there should be treated with oily substances. The courtyards, platforms, walkways, gatehouses, upper-story walls, and pillars should be newly renovated. The land there should be allocated to the Sangha. Any pond water should be reserved for the use of the Sangha of monks from the four directions. If monks are dwelling in empty rooms, practicing virtue, and the group of six monks come there, saying, "We are old," and then drive them away, the Blessed One said, "Do not drive away the residing monks on the grounds of seniority. If you drive them away, you will incur a transgression." Monks, having finished their work, rise from their seats and, while walking and sitting, others take their seats and do not return them, and the monks become flustered. The monks reported this to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "Having finished your work, if you rise from your seat, do not occupy the seat." Monks sit on their seats for a long time, then rise and walk, and the group of six monks sit there. The monks reported this to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "Do not sit there. If you rise and go for a walk, place your Dharma robe or knee-cloth on it before leaving." The origin of the story is in Shravasti. Monks, carrying their bowls, come to the monastery, and then one monk, while carrying his bowl, prostrates, and as a result, the bowl is broken. Another person strikes the pillar of the monastery with his shoes, and the monks begin to mock him. The monks reported this to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, "I will establish rules of conduct for monks entering the path that are in accordance with the occasion." A monk entering the path, if he sees water, should put his bowl and Dharma robe aside in one place. Then, shake off his clothes and bathe. Then, wash his feet and hands, gather water, wipe his shoes with a damp cloth, then wash his hands underneath, put on his upper and lower garments properly, and enter the monastery with peaceful conduct.
