When ordaining monks, they say this: "Venerable ones, please do not close the door on us." If they do not respect the rebuttal, what will happen? Upali, they will respect it. I considered that sinful act, so I said that. If a monk who has taken full ordination claims to be a layman, should it be said that he has taken full ordination or not taken full ordination? Upali, even if he has taken full ordination, if he claims to be a layman, then it should be said that he has not taken full ordination, so what need is there to mention when taking full ordination? The third verse of the third chapter of the solitary door. In short, oil is not allowed. Do not apply any of the five to the feet. Authority should be declared, and the property of the field belongs to the Sangha. The Buddha Bhagavan was residing in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden. The Buddha Bhagavan taught, "Do not wear shoes of the five forbidden types." The group of six applied the oil of those five forbidden types to their feet and went to the yak of King Pasenadi of Kosala, standing in the direction of the herdsmen. The yaks smelled the scent and fled. They said, "Venerable ones, catch them!" They said, "We cannot catch them. Good sirs, will you catch them? Venerable ones, catch them, what will you give us?" "We will give you wages." Then they went before them and stood where the herdsmen were not enough, and those yaks also stopped. They said, "Venerable ones, do you know?" "Good sirs, we do not know, but our yaks have had their feet anointed with sentient oil." "Venerable ones, the king's best yaks have fled, will you not cause harm to the king?" They said this, blaming and mocking them, and speaking unpleasant words. When this happened, the monks reported it to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan taught, "Monks, do not anoint your feet with the oil of sentient yaks. If a monk anoints his feet with the oil of sentient yaks, he commits an offense involving expulsion."

Just as one knows about calves, horses, lions, tigers, leopards, and so on should also be described in detail. The beginning of the story is in Rajagriha. Then, King Rupavat went to where the venerable Ananda was, and after arriving in his presence, the venerable Ananda bowed to the feet of King Rupavat with his head and sat to one side. After sitting to one side, King Rupavat said this to the venerable Ananda: "Venerable Ananda, what is the purpose of setting up the lion throne? Is the Dharma being proclaimed today?" At that time, it was the time for the Uposatha, and that great king was accepted by the monks, but not accepted by the laypeople. After saying this, the king bowed at his feet and left. The one who asks knowing is the Buddha Bhagavan. The Buddha Bhagavan said to the venerable Ananda: "Why did the king leave without hearing the Dharma?" Then, he reported the details of what happened to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan said: "Ananda, you are wrong. If King Rupavat heard the Pratimoksha, he would surely be even more delighted than before, and after being delighted, he would do what needs to be done because of his delight. Therefore, I allow such faithful noble beings to hear it. Furthermore, they do not trust the rich, but they trust the poor very much." The Bhagavan said: "Let such people also hear it." At that time, the venerable one named "Twenty Crore Gruel" was pale, emaciated, old, weak, and his body was feeble. The Bhagavan saw him and said to the venerable Ananda: "Ananda, why is the one named "Twenty Crore Gruel" pale, emaciated, old, weak, and his body feeble?" He reported to the Bhagavan: "Venerable One, from the time he was born, he has only sustained his life with gruel." The Bhagavan said: "Ananda, since that is the case, I allow "Twenty Crore Gruel" to be nourished with gruel." Then, the venerable Ananda for "Twenty Crore

Then the venerable Drozhin, the Blessed One instructed, "You should drink porridge." He said, "Venerable Ananda, is it for me alone, or for all the Sangha to drink?" The Blessed One said, "For you alone." After the venerable Ananda said this, the Brahmacharis also said, "Drozhin, who renounced twenty kotis, formerly in the city of Champa, when there was a good harvest, even abandoned what was drawn by seven yaks to become a renunciate, now he is attached to just a little porridge." He requested, "Blessed One, if for my sake, all the Sangha drink porridge, then I will dare to drink." The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said, "If so, then allow all the Sangha to drink porridge for the sake of Drozhin, who renounced twenty kotis." When King Subhaga heard that the Blessed One had allowed the Sangha to drink porridge, he offered to the Sangha fields sown with a thousand bags of seeds, but the monks did not accept them. The Blessed One said, "For the sake of the Sangha, it should be accepted, do not hesitate. Therefore, the things that come from the fields, the Sangha should enjoy." This is the fourth verse of the Sutra of the Three Solitary Doors. In summary: cushions and those who have taken full ordination, the father of a novice and a new novice, those who should not be allowed to enter, this is the second precept given. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was dwelling in Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti. The venerable Upali asked the Buddha, the Blessed One, "Venerable, can a monk and a householder sit together on one cushion?" Upali, that is not allowed, but if such a circumstance arises, it is allowed. Venerable, the father of a novice and a new monk, as well as hermaphrodites, meat-eaters, expelled nuns, parricides, matricides, arhat-killers, those who maliciously shed the blood of the Buddha, heretics, those who have become heretics, thieves, those who live alone, those who do not live [in community], and so on, and cushions.
