ག་དང་། ངས་ཀྱང་ཕྱིས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་དང་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་དགེ་འདུན་དག་ལ་ཟན་སྦྱིན་ནོ། །དེས་ཀྱང་ཁས་བླངས་ནས་དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མེ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱིས་གང་པོ་དག་གང་ན་འདུག་པ་དེར་ཕྱིན་ནས་གང་པོ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་ཞིང་མགུ་བའི་གཏམ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དག་བྱས་ནས་་་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་གོ །ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མེ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱིས་གང་པོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །གང་པོ་ ཁྱོད་སང་བདག་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་གཅེར་བུ་པ་མང་པོ་དང་། དགེ་འདུན་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་བཤོས་གསོལ་གྱིས་ཁས་ལོང་ཤིག །གང་པོས་བསམས་པ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་འདི་ནི་གོར་མ་ཆག་པར་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་ལ་སུན་པར་གྱུར་ནས་བདག་ཅག་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་དད་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ་དེ་ནི་བདག་ཅག་གི་རྙེད་པ་རབ་ཏུ་རྙེད་པ་སྟེ། གང་པོ་བདག་ཅག་གི་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་རིགས་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་དད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེས་ཁས་བླངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མེ་སྐྱེས་དེ་དག་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ནས་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མེ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱིས་དེའི་ནུབ་མོ་རབ་ཏུ་བསོད་པའི་བཅའ་བ་དང་བཟའ་བའི་ཁ་ཟས་དག་སྦྱར་ནས། ནང་པར་སྔར་ལངས་ཏེ་ལངས་ནས་སྟན་བཏིང་། རིལ་བ་དག་ཆུས་བཀང་སྟེ་བཞག་ནས་གང་པོ་དག་ལ་སྤྱན་འདྲེན་པའི་དུས་གསོལ་པ། ཀྱེ་གང་པོ་བཤོས་རྣམས་བཤམས་ཀྱིས་དུས་མཁྱེན་པར་མཛོད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་དོང་བ་དང་། དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱིས་དེའི་གནས་སུ་འོངས་ཏེ་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་གང་པོ་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་ནི་ཁྱིམ་བདག་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་བཞུད་དེ་དེ་ནང་དུ་བཞུད་ཀར་སྒོའི་ཐེམ་པ་ལ་་་ཞབས་བཞག་ནས་འཛུམ་པ་སྟོན་ཏེ། དེ་ནས་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཞེས་བྱ་་བས་སྟོད་གཡོགས་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་གཟར། པུས་མོ་གཡས་པའི་ལྷ་ང་ས་ལ་་བཙུགས་ཏེ་ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ནས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དང་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་་་ཉན་ཐོས་དག་ནི་རྒྱུ་མ་མཆིས་རྐྱེན་མ་མཆིས་པར་འཛུམ་པ་མི་མཛད་ན། བཙུན་པ་ཅིའི་རྒྱུ་ཅིའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་ཅེས་ཞུས་པ་དང་། དེས་ཀྱང་ཀུན་་་དགའ་བོ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་ནོ། །དེ་དེ་བཞིན་ཏེ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དང་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་ཉན་ཐོས་དག་ནི་རྒྱུ་མེད་་རྐྱེན་མེད་པར་འཛུམ་པ་སྟོན་པར་མི་མཛད་དེ། དེ་ཇི་ལྟ་བུར་དགོངས་པ་བཞིན་ལུང་བསྟན་ཏོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། དེ་ལ་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་དག་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་དད་པར་གྱུར་གྱིས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མེ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་འགྲོ་བའི་ཚེ་དེ་ལྟར་བྱ་བའི་རིགས་སོ། །འོན་ཀྱང་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་དག་རབ་ཏུ་དད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་ཁས་བླངས་སོ། །

嘎，我也后来供养沙门乔达摩和声闻的僧众。他也答应了，之后，屋主火生去往那些外道所在的地方，与外道一起做了许多欢喜和满意的话语，然后坐在一旁。坐在一旁后，屋主火生对外道这样说道：外道，明天请你和众多裸形外道以及僧众一起到我家应供。外道心想：这个屋主一定是对沙门乔达摩感到厌烦，所以才对我们非常信仰，这真是我们获得的巨大收益啊！外道对我们僧团的种类非常信仰啊！这样想着，他就答应了。之后，屋主火生邀请他们后就离开了。之后，屋主火生在那天晚上准备了非常美味的食物和饮料。第二天早上，他早早起床，起床后铺设了座位，把碗装满水后放置好，然后告知外道们应供的时间：外道们，斋饭已经准备好了，请知晓时间。那些名叫东瓦和巴贝的人来到他的住所说道：圣者外道，沙门乔达摩进入了屋主的家，当他进入时，脚踩在门槛上，露出了微笑。之后，名叫阿难陀的声闻将上衣偏袒一肩，右膝着地，合掌说道：世尊和世尊的声闻们，如果没有原因和条件是不会微笑的，尊者，是因为什么原因和条件而微笑呢？他回答说：阿难陀，正是这样。正是这样，阿难陀，如来和如来的声闻们，如果没有原因和条件是不会示现微笑的。他就像根据您的想法进行预言一样说道，因此许多人也变得非常信仰，所以您在去屋主火生的家时，也应该这样做。然而，许多人会变得非常信仰的。他答应了。

After sitting aside, the householder Fire-born said this to the heretics: Heretics, tomorrow please come to my house with many naked ascetics and the Sangha to accept offerings. The heretics thought: This householder must be tired of the Shramana Gautama, so he has great faith in us, this is truly a great gain for us! The heretics have great faith in our kind of Sangha! Thinking this way, he agreed. After that, the householder Fire-born invited them and left. After that, the householder Fire-born prepared very delicious food and drinks that night. The next morning, he got up early, and after getting up, he laid out the seats, filled the bowls with water and placed them, and then informed the heretics of the time for offering: Heretics, the meal is ready, please be aware of the time. Those named Dongwa and Babé came to his residence and said: Venerable Heretics, the Shramana Gautama has entered the householder's house, and when he entered, he stepped on the threshold of the door and showed a smile. Then, the Shravaka named Ananda bared one shoulder of his upper garment, knelt on his right knee, and with his palms together said: The Blessed One and the Blessed One's Shravakas do not smile without a cause or condition, Venerable, what is the cause and condition for smiling? He replied: Ananda, it is so. It is so, Ananda, the Tathagata and the Tathagata's Shravakas do not show a smile without a cause or condition. He spoke as if he were prophesying according to your thoughts, therefore many people have also become very faithful, so you should also do the same when you go to the householder Fire-born's house. However, many people will become very faithful. He agreed.

之后，许多裸形外道围绕着， 前往了屋主火生的家中。屋主火生将脚放在门槛上，像马一样嘶叫。其中一个裸形外道弯下身子问道：世尊，您这样的大丈夫，不会无缘无故地微笑吧？ “唉，在离车河边，一只公猴看到一只母猴，对她心生爱慕，想要爬上母猴的背，于是跑过去，结果从树顶上摔下来死了。当时我心想，这个有情众生因为欲望而遭受了巨大的痛苦啊！” 话音刚落，屋主火生听到后心想：这个妓女的儿子，裸形外道，就像卖针的人又回到打铁匠的家卖针一样。我该如何嘲讽他呢？想到这里，那些拿着棍子的许多人都安稳地坐着。屋主用干净而有福的食物和饮料装满钵，上面放上蔬菜，然后给了他们。唯独给裸形外道一个人的钵底放上蔬菜，上面盖上米饭。其他的裸形外道都在吃东西，而裸形外道心想：毫无疑问，他是故意针对我。他一定是认为我喜欢蔬菜和美味的食物才给我的。当蔬菜快要分完的时候，他心想：他一定是忙忘了，我来提醒他吧。于是他叫道：屋主，我这里只有米饭，没有蔬菜啊！ 于是屋主再次用偈颂说道： 不见能令见， 当见而不见， 离车河边猴， 见而钵中菜， 不识。 裸形外道也看着他的脸。屋主指着钵底的蔬菜说：裸形外道，你看见了离车河边的猴子，却没看见钵里的蔬菜啊！ 他心想：这个人让我感到羞愧，无论如何，像这样宣扬布施的功德，对今生来世都没有好处啊！

Then, surrounded by many naked ascetics, They went to the house of the householder Me-skyes (Fire-born). The householder Me-skyes placed his foot on the threshold of the door and neighed like a horse. One of the naked ascetics bowed down and asked, "Bhagavan, noble man, you like that do not smile without cause or condition?" "Alas, on the bank of the Licchavi River, a male monkey saw a female monkey, and his mind was greatly attached to her. Thinking he would mount that female monkey, he ran, but slipped and fell from the top of a tree and died. At that time, I thought to myself, 'This sentient being has become greatly distressed because of desire!'" As soon as those words came out of his mouth, the householder Me-skyes heard them and thought, "This son of a prostitute, the naked ascetic, is like a needle seller returning to the blacksmith's house to sell needles. How should I ridicule him?" Thinking this, all those many with sticks were sitting comfortably. The householder filled bowls with clean and blessed food and drink, and placed vegetables on top, and gave them out. Only for the naked ascetic did he put vegetables at the bottom of the bowl and cover them with rice. While the other naked ascetics were eating, the naked ascetic thought, "Without a doubt, he is deliberately targeting me. He must think that I like vegetables and delicious food, that's why he gave them to me." When the vegetables were almost finished, he thought, "He must have forgotten in his haste, I will remind him." So he called out, "Householder, I only have rice, there are no vegetables!" Then the householder spoke again in verse: "What is not seen, one makes seen, What should be seen, one does not see, The monkey by the Licchavi's bank is seen, But the vegetables in the bowl are not." The naked ascetic also looked at his face. The householder pointed to the vegetables at the bottom of the bowl and said, "Naked ascetic, you saw the monkey by the bank of the Licchavi River, but you did not see the vegetables in the bowl!" He thought, "This person has made me feel ashamed, and in any case, praising the merit of giving in this way will not benefit either this life or the next!"
