那么，凡是天性羞愧的，就让他到一个人面前来吧。让他到一个人面前来吧！不要对此怀疑。如是说。一些不离贪欲的、不同的人，如持经者、持律者、持母者，以及僧团的长老、名声显赫者、大福德者，因为没有审查，所以发生了僧团的残余罪。那些被判罪的人一起生活，以及近侍、婆罗门、居士，以及其他无论谁，听闻甚少的比丘们也批评了。有些人变得不高兴。那些变成这样的比丘们向世尊禀告。世尊开示说：那些人以后也不应该这样做，应该非常坚定地思考，到一个人面前来吧！不要对此怀疑。这是单行本中第一门的经的第二个偈颂。总之，应该安立的道理就应该安立。七岁以后也应该行走。不能一起完成也是如此。谁的皮革是不合适的。佛陀世尊住在舍卫城祇陀林给孤独园。具寿阿难陀轮值管理寺庙。拘萨罗国的国王胜光王来到祇陀林，顶礼世尊的足，然后去往具寿阿难陀所在的地方，走到他面前，顶礼足后，为了听法而坐在前面。然后，具寿阿难陀开始讲解经典，从经典中分开，稍微详细地讲解，然后开始简略地讲解。国王说：圣者，我没有急事，不要简略地讲解。像这样说了两次三次。具寿阿难陀说：大王，你没有急事，但我有急事。国王说：圣者阿难陀，你有什么急事？他说：必须管理寺庙。国王说：圣者阿难陀，你也做轮值工作吗？天人属于僧团，所以应该做工作。国王说：这件事应该由我来做。

Then, whoever is naturally ashamed, let him come before one person. Let him come before one person! Do not doubt this. Thus it was said. Some who are not free from desire, different people, such as those who hold the sutras, those who hold the vinaya, those who hold the matrika, and some elders of the sangha, those who are famous, those of great merit, because they did not investigate, therefore the remaining offenses of the sangha occurred. Those who were condemned lived together, and the attendants, brahmins, householders, and others, whoever they may be, even monks who had heard little, also criticized. Some became displeased. Those monks who became like this reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed: Those people should not do this later either, they should think very firmly, come before one person! Do not doubt this. This is the second verse of the sutra of the first gate in the single text. In short, the reason that should be established should be established. After the age of seven, one should also walk. It is also the same if it cannot be completed together. Whose leather is unsuitable. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti. The venerable Ananda was on duty to manage the monastery. King Prasenajit of Kosala came to Jeta Grove, prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One, and then went to where the venerable Ananda was, went before him, prostrated at his feet, and sat in front to listen to the Dharma. Then, the venerable Ananda began to explain the sutra, separating from the sutra, explaining it in a little detail, and then began to explain it briefly. The king said: Venerable, I am not in a hurry, do not explain it briefly. He said this twice or three times. The venerable Ananda said: Great King, you are not in a hurry, but I am in a hurry. The king said: Venerable Ananda, what are you in a hurry for? He said: I must manage the monastery. The king said: Venerable Ananda, do you also do shift work? The gods belong to the sangha, so they should do work. The king said: This should be done by me.

Whether it is a minister, a great minister, a general, a villager, or even a farmer, they will do the work themselves. The Blessed One is also the supreme king of Dharma! Alas, Blessed One, compassionate one, you should also arrange what is appropriate to arrange, why do you not arrange the rotation of work?" Having said this, as King Prasenajit said, the Blessed One did not say anything, thus consenting. King Prasenajit also understood that the Blessed One's silence meant consent, so King Prasenajit prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ānanda: "Ānanda, go and gather all the monks who reside and dwell in Śrāvastī in the assembly hall."
