དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་མ་གཤེགས་པར་སྔར་དགེ་སློང་སུ་ཡང་མ་འདོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ་ཞེས་བསྒོའོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སྔ་དྲོའི་དུས་ན་ཤམ་ཐབས་མནབས། ལྷུང་བཟེད་དང་། ཆོས་གོས་བསྣམས་ཏེ། དགེ་སློང་མང་པོས་བསྐོར་ནས་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་གྱིས་མདུན་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་གང་ན་བ་དེ་ལོགས་སུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་འོད་མའི་ཚལ་ན་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་བྲན་རྣམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཞིང་ཡིད་མི་དགའ་བས་གཟིར་ཏེ། མྱུར་ཞིང་རིངས་པར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་་འདས་གང་ན་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་གཏུགས་ཏེ་སྙིང་རྗེའི་ཚིག་གིས་འདི་སྐད་དུ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་གཤེགས་པའི་མི་རིགས་སོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལྷ་དེ་ན་གནོད་པ་ཅི་ཞིག་ཡོད། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དཔལ་སྦེད་ནི་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་མ་རུང་བར་བགྱི་བའི་སླད་དུ་བཤམས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལྷ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ནི་གནོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་བྲལ་ན་དེས་ང་ལ་གནོད་པ་ཅི་ཞིག་བྱར་ཡོད། ལྷ་བྲན་གྱིས་གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དགྲོངས་པའི་སླད་དུ་དོང་ཆེན་པོའི་ནང་དུ་སེང་ལྡེང་གི་མེ་མདག་གིས་བཀང་ངོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལྷ་གང་འདོད་ཆགས་ཀྱི་མེ་དང་། ཞེ་སྡང་གི་མེ་དང་། གཏི་མུག་གི་མེ་དག་ཀྱང་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཆུས་བཏབ་ན་ཞི་བར་འགྱུར། མེའི་ནང་ན་ཐ་མ་དེས་ཅི་ཞིག་བྱར་ཡོད་ཀྱིས་མྱ་ངན་མ་བྱེད་པར་འདུག་ཤིག །ལྷ་བྲན་གྱིས་གསོལ་པ། དེ་གཅིག་པུ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱི་གཞན་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དགྲོངས་པའི་སླད་དུ་བྱ་བ་སྦྱར་ཏེ། དུག་རྣོན་པོ་མི་བཟད་པས་ཁ་ཟས་དང་བཏུང་བའི་ནང་དུ་སྦྱར་ཏོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལྷ་དུག་གི་གཉེན་པོ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་འདོད་ཆགས་ཀྱི་དུག་དང་། ཞེ་སྡང་གི་དུག་དང་། གཏི་མུག་གི་དུག་ཀྱང་རབ་ཏུ་བཏང་། རབ་ཏུ་སྐྱུགས། རབ་ཏུ་བོར་ན་དུག་གི་ནང་ན་ཐ་མ་དེས་བྱར་ཅི་ཞིག་ཡོད། བདག་སླར་ལོག་ལ་བདག་གི་ལས་ལ་ནན་ཏན་བྱོས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་བྱོན་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ན་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་དག་གིས་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་དུ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། ལྷ་དེ་དག་ལ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ལྷ་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་དུ་བསྒོ་སྟེ་སླར་བཀྱེའོ། །དེ་ནས་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁང་པའི་སྒོར་བྱོན་པ་དང་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ལྷས་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་དུ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ལྷ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་ལྷ་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་དུ་བསྒོ་སྟེ་སླར་བཀྱེའོ། །དེ་ནས་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཆུང་མས་བསམས་པ། ད་ནི་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སྒོ་དང་པོར་ཕྱིན་ཅིང་ད་ཙམ་ནི་དོང་གི་སྟེང་དུ་ཞབས་གཞོག་གོ །ད་ཙམ་ནི་དོང་གི་ཁ་རྩྭས་གཡོགས་པའི་སྟེང་ནས་ལྷུང་སྟེ་ད་ཙམ་ནི་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མེའི་ནང་དུ་ལྷུང་་བས་དུད་པས་ཀྱང་འཚལ། མཆི་མ་ཡང་བྱུང་། མེ་ལྕེས་ཆོས་གོས་ཚིག་པའི་དུད་པའང་བྱུང་ངོ་སྙམ་ནས་མི་དགའ་བ་དེས་ཁང་པའི་ནང་དུ་བཅུག་པས་ཡིད་མི་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ནས་མིག་མཆི་མས་གང་ཞིང་ངོ་འཛུམ་གནགས་ནས་་་བརྟབས་མི་དགེ་བ་ལ་རྟོག་སྟེ་ངུ་ཞིང་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཕན་པ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འཇུག་པའི་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་སྒོ་བར་མར་ བྱོན་ནས་མེའི་དོང་གི་སྟེང་དུ་ཞབས་བཞག་པ་དང་། དེ་ནས་མེའི་དོང་གི་སྟེང་དུ་ཞབས་བཞག་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་མཚེའུ་པད་མོ་ཅན་དུ་གྱུར་ཏེ། ཨུད་པ་ལ་དང་། པད་མོ་དང་། ཀུ་མུ་ད་དང་། པུཎྜ་རཱི་ཀ་དག་གིས་ནི་ཁེབས། བྱ་ངང་པ་དང་། ཀཱ་རཎྜ་དང་། ངུར་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཆུ་ན་སྤྱོད་པའི་བྱ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བརྒྱན་ཏེ། བྱ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་སྐད་སྣ་ཚོགས་འབྱིན་པ་ནི་ཇི་ལྟར་ལྷའི་རྫིང་མན་ད་ཀ་བཞིན་ནོ། །ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་ཀུ་མུ་ད་དང་། ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་ཁ་དོག་དང་ལྡན་པས་སྟེང་ནས་གཏོར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་པད་མའི་སྙིང་པོའི་སྟེང་དག་ཏུ་ཞབས་བཞག་སྟེ་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་བྱོན་པ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དཔལ་སྦེད་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེ་བའི་མིག་གིས་བགྲད་དེ་བལྟས་ནས། བཙུན་པ་གང་པོ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་དང་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་ལ་ལྟོས་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། གང་པོ་མི་དགའ་བའི་བཞིན་དུ་བསྒྱུར་ནས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་ལ་དད་དམ་དེའི་སྒྱུ་མ་ལ་དད་དམ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་གང་པོ་དེ་ལྟར་འདི་ལྟ་བུས་བསྒྲུབ་དུ་རུང་ན་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱང་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ན་སྒྱུ་མ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་བྱོས་ལ་སྟོན་ཅིག །དེ་ལྟ་བུས་ང་དང་ངའི་མཛའ་བོ་དང་ཕུ་ནུ་དག་ཀྱང་བསྒྲུབ་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག །གང་པོས་བསམས་པ་དགོས་པ་མ་གྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། སླར་འགྲོའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེས་དེ་ལ་སྤྱོས་ཏེ་ཁང་པའི་སྟེང་ནས་བབས་ཏེ་སྐྱེངས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་མངོན་དུ་འབྱུང་བར་མ་ནུས་ཏེ། དེ་ནས་འགྲོས་དལ་ཞིང་བགས་ཀྱིས་སོང་ནས་གདོང་ཡང་ས་ལ་བལྟས་ཏེ་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་ནས་བྱུང་སྟེ་བྲོས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དཔལ་སྦེད་ཁྱིམ

He proclaimed, 'Before the Tathagata arrives, no bhikshus are to go there beforehand.' Then, in the early morning, the Blessed One, having put on his lower garment, and taking his bowl and robes, surrounded by many bhikshus and led by the sangha of bhikshus, went to the place where the house of Palabed (དཔལ་སྦེད་, Wealth Protector) was. Then, the gods residing in the Grove of Light, afflicted by suffering and displeasure, quickly and hastily went to where the Blessed One was, and upon arriving, touched the feet of the Blessed One and spoke with words of compassion, 'Blessed One, it is not right that you go to the house of Palabed (དཔལ་སྦེད་)!' The Blessed One said, 'God, what harm is there?' The god said, 'Blessed One, Palabed (དཔལ་སྦེད་) has prepared to do what is not pleasing to the Blessed One.' The Blessed One said, 'God, the Tathagata is free from all harm, what harm can he do to me?' The god reported: 'Blessed One, in order to kill the Blessed One, he has filled a large pit with sandalwood charcoal.' The Blessed One said, 'God, if the fire of desire, the fire of hatred, and the fire of ignorance are extinguished with the water of wisdom, they will also be pacified. What can that mere fire do? Do not grieve, stay here!' The god reported, 'Not only that, but others have also taken action to kill the Blessed One, they have mixed unbearable poison into food and drink.' The Blessed One said, 'God, if with the antidote of wisdom, the poison of desire, the poison of hatred, and the poison of ignorance are completely abandoned, completely vomited out, completely discarded, then what can that mere poison do? Return and diligently do your work!' Then the Blessed One went to Rajagriha (རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་, King's Abode). The gods residing in Rajagriha (རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་) reported as before. Now is the time when he will fall from the grass-covered mouth of the pit, and now is the time when the Blessed One will fall into the fire, and even the smoke will be smelled. Tears also came. The smoke of the fire burning the Dharma robes also came," thinking thus, the unhappy woman was locked in the room, and with an unhappy mind, her eyes filled with tears, her face contorted, contemplating unwholesome thoughts, she sat weeping. Then, the Blessed One, with a mind that thoroughly engages in benefiting all sentient beings, went to the middle door and placed his foot on the fire pit. As soon as his foot was placed on the fire pit, all of it was transformed into a lotus lake. Swans, 雁鸭 (kāraṇḍa, 鸳鸯，duck), geese, and other aquatic birds adorned it. Those birds also emitted various sounds, just like the Mandāka pond of the gods.
