He went wandering on the ground. Gradually wandering, he went to Shravasti, rested from the journey, and came to his own home. When the people inside saw him, they cried, and the sound of crying was heard by the neighbors, and they gathered together, some crying aloud, some sitting with tears in their eyes. Each of the people, being attached, were separated from their relatives, and were filled with tears of sorrow. They were also sitting with weeping voices. Then another old woman said, 'Children, we have all heard that your father has given you property, do not cry. If there is birth, there will be death.' Having said this, he thought for a little while, and then taught the Dharma to his mother and brothers. They were a little relieved of their sorrow, and they said, 'Take your share of the property.' He thought, 'The Blessed One has said that giving after I have passed away is not allowed.' Thinking about how to receive it, he said, 'Venerable ones, I have gone forth, and there is no need for wealth, and the Blessed One has also said that giving after I have passed away is not allowed. Take it yourselves.' They blamed him, saying, 'Noble one, take it and give alms, and make merit. What is wrong with that?' He told this to the monks. The monks reported it to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said, 'Monks, there is hope for householders, but there is no hope for those who have gone forth. For householders, I say that giving after I have passed away is valid for the householder. But for those who have gone forth, there is no such thing. Therefore, householders think that this is given to you, take it. Do it for the sake of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and do not hesitate.' The story took place in Shravasti. The monks threw heavy piles of dung, toothpicks, washing utensils, and cow dung in the walkways, courtyards, and doorways, and then went to wander. The monks were doubtful about this and did not use them. After this happened, the monks reported it to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said

Lapa. Be free from the five kinds of attachments. Namely, friendship, mutual understanding, guru, unchanging, and becoming happy upon hearing. One should practice these five kinds of attachments, and do not hesitate about it. The origin of the story is that in Shravasti, there was a householder who took a woman of the same caste as his wife, and together they enjoyed the pleasures of play. After enjoying the pleasures of play, after a while, the wife became pregnant. After eight or nine months, she gave birth to a daughter, and within twenty-one days, a grand birth celebration was held, and a name was given according to the caste. She was raised and grew up, and another householder court her, and sent dowry and other items. Later, this householder passed away, and she was tormented by the grief of losing her husband, so she took refuge in the well-spoken Dharma - the Vinaya Pitaka. Later, a famine occurred, and she was begging for food. While begging for food, her father saw her on a street. The father said, "Daughter, where are you now, and how are you living?" The daughter said, "Father, a famine has occurred, and I am very hungry." The father said, "Daughter, since that is the case, if you do not disrobe, I will reluctantly give to you. Now do not beg for food, come to my house to eat, and go to the pavilion." She agreed, and ate with one or two friends, and went to the pavilion. After eating there for a few days, the father said, "I cannot afford to feed two beggars, you alone eat here and then leave." The daughter said, "Father, the Blessed One does not allow going to the village alone." The father said nothing and remained silent. This matter was told to the nuns, and the nuns told the monks, and the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One taught, "Since that is the case, I allow that at such a time, a nun can request the precepts of intimacy from the nun's sangha, in order to marry and live together. The request is...

Do it this way. After spreading the seat, strike the ghanta (gandhi), and when the bhikshuni sangha has gathered and is seated, pay homage in order of seniority. In front of the senior, sit on a cushion or a seat with stuffing inside, join your palms, and speak these words: Listen, noble sangha of bhikshunis, I, who am called so-and-so, am now in such a time of famine that I cannot even beg for alms. I, the bhikshuni called so-and-so, request from the noble sangha of bhikshunis the upasampada of mingling with relatives. Noble sangha of bhikshunis, please grant me, who am called so-and-so, the upasampada of mingling with relatives. Compassionate ones, for the sake of compassion. Thus, say it two or three times. After that, one bhikshuni should make the request and perform the karma. Listen, noble sangha of bhikshunis. This bhikshuni, called so-and-so, is now in such a time of famine that she requests from the noble sangha of bhikshunis the upasampada of mingling with relatives. If the noble sangha of bhikshunis deems it timely and can tolerate it, then let the noble sangha of bhikshunis listen. Let the noble sangha grant this bhikshuni, called so-and-so, the upasampada of mingling with relatives. This is the request. The karma should also be performed in this way. Listen, noble sangha of bhikshunis. This bhikshuni, called so-and-so, is now in such a time of famine that she requests from the noble sangha of bhikshunis the upasampada of mingling with relatives. Therefore, noble sangha of bhikshunis, if this bhikshuni, called so-and-so, is now in such a time of famine and requests the upasampada of mingling with relatives, then among the noble ones, whoever can tolerate granting this bhikshuni, called so-and-so, the upasampada of mingling with relatives in this time of famine, let them remain silent. Let those who cannot tolerate it speak. The noble sangha has granted this bhikshuni, called so-and-so, the upasampada of mingling with relatives, and it is thus upheld. The bhikshuni's
