There are also five ways in which offenses arise: arising from seeing, arising from proclamation, arising from not doing from the beginning, arising from blessing, and arising from confession. There are five types of male hermaphrodites: natural hermaphrodites, half-month hermaphrodites, jealous hermaphrodites, lustful hermaphrodites, and degenerate hermaphrodites. What is a natural hermaphrodite? One who is naturally a hermaphrodite. What is a half-month hermaphrodite? One who becomes male for half a month and female for half a month. What is a jealous hermaphrodite? One who, seeing others engaging in illicit sex, also begins to engage in illicit sex. What is a lustful hermaphrodite? One who only acts when others perform sexual acts and squeeze them. What is a degenerate hermaphrodite? One whose penis has been eaten by an animal or cut off by a weapon. There are also five types of female hermaphrodites: having both male and female sexual organs, having two connected sexual organs, constantly leaking fluid, having no menstruation, and having only a symbol of sexual organs. There are five permissible situations: grasping an object, etc.
