If it becomes reasonable due to your Brahma punishment, then you should be admonished with Brahma punishment. If it becomes appropriate due to feeling displeasure, then actions that cause displeasure should be done. A disputing monk should also trust the disputed monk in five other ways. If, venerable one, you do not serve, then you should be counted among those who do not serve. If, venerable one, you confess your faults, then you should be counted among those who confess their faults. If you are accused of speaking for others, then you should be counted among those accused of speaking for others. If you do not listen to admonishment, then you should be counted among those who do not listen to admonishment. If you do not listen to admonishment because you are silent, then you should also be counted among those who are silent. A disputing monk should also trust the disputed monk in five other ways: If, venerable one, it is appropriate to threaten you, then you should be threatened. If it is appropriate not to share possessions, then the action of not sharing possessions should be done. If it is appropriate not to appear in sight, then the action of not appearing in sight should be done to you. If it is appropriate to expel, then the action of expelling should be done. If it is appropriate to scold, then the action of scolding should be done. If it is appropriate to reconcile again, then the action of reconciliation should be done to you.

The monk I am talking about should also be trusted in five ways: that is, if the venerable one, you are suitable to be tamed by presence, then you should be tamed by presence. If it is suitable to be tamed by mindfulness, then you should be tamed by mindfulness. If it is suitable to be tamed by non-confusion, then you should be tamed by non-confusion. If it is suitable to be tamed by seeking its essence, then you should be tamed by seeking its essence. If it is suitable to give many instructions, then many instructions should be given to you. The monk who is debating should also trust the monk being debated in five ways: the one being debated, listen. Whatever you are asked, speak accordingly. In order not to become disgusted with oneself, not to harm others, not to offend the blameless monks, not to openly slander the monks who have appeared, and not to disagree with the words of the sutras spoken by the impartial monks. If you do so, it will be good and very good. In short, the way to deal with transgressions is like this: confession, views, Sangha's Uposatha, as well as the teacher and what is practiced, the destruction of the dwelling and expulsion. There are five causes of transgression: arising from shamelessness, arising from doubt, arising from ignorance, arising from dullness, and arising from loss of mindfulness. There are five things to be abandoned: supplication, questioning, admonition, speaking to some, and what should be said. What is supplication? Venerable one, do not do anything that would cause you to lose your status as a practitioner, I beseech you, venerable one. What is questioning? Venerable one, have you not done anything that would cause you to lose your status as a practitioner? I ask you, venerable one. What is admonition? Venerable one, do not do anything that would cause you to lose your status as a practitioner, I am going to admonish you. What is speaking to some? Venerable one, do not do like some people who do things that would cause you to lose your status as a practitioner, practice diligently with caution. What is the thing to be said? Venerable one, do not lose your status as a practitioner.
