Having arisen. The Blessed One said: The remaining offenses of the Sangha are not present, but they become gross offenses. Likewise, it is the same for the householder. A householder's wife, beautiful and lovely, was taken by another great minister named 'Yong Gya Ne'. Although he sent many messengers to her, he could not win her over, and the householder passed away. After his death, because of a slight offense, the minister thought, 'Is there any way that we can be safe and happy without harm?' He said, 'There is a way. The great minister should pursue her. Although he sent messengers many times, he could not win her over.' 'Oh, girl, be happy! By your power alone, these beings will be happy.' After saying this, she asked him, 'Oh, who should be sent as a messenger now?' He replied, 'We have a monk who wanders near the village, send him as a messenger.' That monk also went to that village, and the householder's wife said, 'Venerable, does this great minister, named so-and-so, intend to offer this house of hers, this wealth of hers, and all these things, and come here? Is it possible?' After saying this. After he went and advised him, and the two of them were separated, the monk felt regret. The Blessed One said: It becomes a gross offense. A householder's wife built a monastery for the Sangha, and she offered robes and beneficial medicines there, but after the householder's wife passed away, after her death, no one offered robes and beneficial medicines in that monastery. The monks went to the householder and said, 'Householder, just as your wife built the monastery, shouldn't you also offer some robes and beneficial things and medicine for the sick?' He replied, 'Venerable, the wife is virtuous and has great power, whatever little she says, she does it for that purpose. If she, that is, the wife of this householder, sends me food, then likewise, I will still offer it.'

said it would be useful. Those monks went to the housewife of that household and said, "Housewife, can you offer food to this householder named so-and-so?" The monk said no. She said, "I have many things to do in my house, and I can't even finish those, let alone pass them on to others?" They made the housewife of that household happy and advised, "Make offerings to the stupa! Make offerings to the Sangha!" The housewife of that household also had some faith, and she said, "I believe." So those two things were repeatedly ruined and broken. That monk felt remorse, and the Blessed One taught, "There is no fault." A householder built a monastery for the Sangha, and he offered robes and medicine for illness there, and later gave help. Later, that householder passed away, and that matter also expanded in the same way. The housewife of that householder said, "For the sake of that householder named so-and-so, if the work is distributed, it can be offered in this way as well." This matter also expanded in the same way. The Blessed One taught, "There is no fault." A monk was about to go to another village. After he arrived in that village, the householder said, "Venerable, can you send a message to my wife named so-and-so, asking her to come here?" He went and persuaded her, and that woman also became ill. That householder also became ill. Both of them became ill, so that matter did not succeed.

In the morning, having put on the Dharma robes and skirt, he went to that village carrying the alms bowl. That householder said: To this one called householder, please give your daughter or sister to my son. Can such a message be sent? He replied that it could. So he went and informed. That boy was past the age of marriage, or that girl was a hunchback, or had become mad, or had already been given to another. That monk felt regret. The Blessed One taught: A grave offense will be committed. If a monk goes near a village in another village, in the morning, having put on the Dharma robes and skirt, he goes to that village carrying the alms bowl. In detail, this should also be done in the same way. That boy has fallen ill, or that girl has also fallen ill, or has become a hunchback, or has already been given to another, it is also acceptable. That monk felt regret. The Blessed One taught: A grave offense will be committed. The matter of taming is completed. The explanation of ascending from one. A sutra section that summarizes the Vinaya and above with the three doors. The first explanation and the second, and the third are also the same. After striving to the end, this summary must be spoken.
