Bowl and, robes etc. and alms, there are two ways to approach a village. The Buddha Bhagavan was residing in the village of the Light Garden in the land of Vrji. For the monks residing on the banks of the Ganges, since the training rules had not been established, there was no offense for the beginners. When we had not established the training rules, if we spoke to many people about a superior Dharma that was non-existent and not like a human, what would we, the beginners, think? Thus, doubt, hesitation, and regret arose. The Blessed One said: Monks, when the training rules have not been established, all the monks residing on the banks of the Ganges, including those in the past, are beginners, so there is no offense for the beginners. A monk, perceiving a human as a non-human, spoke of a superior Dharma that was non-existent and not like a human, and that monk felt regret. The Blessed One said: If one perceives a human as a human, one will be judged as defeated. If one has doubts about a non-human, one will commit a gross offense. If one perceives a non-human as a human, one will commit a gross offense. A monk spoke to a householder about a superior Dharma that was non-existent and not like a human, and that householder absentmindedly said: Venerable, what are you saying? That monk felt regret. The Blessed One said: There is no offense of defeat, but a gross offense will be committed. A householder said to a monk: Venerable, you are an Arhat, you deserve robes, alms, bedding, medicine, and excellent utensils. He did not speak, indicating consent, and therefore committed a gross offense. A householder asked a monk: Is the Dharma without sin pure? He did not speak, indicating consent, and therefore committed a gross offense. If he said: Venerable, you are an Arhat, please accept my alms. He did not speak, indicating consent, and therefore committed a gross offense. A monk, intending to go to another's village, put on his lower garment in the morning and went into the village, at which time the householder said: Venerable, you are an Arhat, then please

Saying, "Please enter the house," if one enters without speaking, it becomes a grave offense. Similarly, saying, "Please sit on the cushion, please eat with a spoon, please rejoice, please come again," if one does not speak, one commits a grave offense by consenting. A certain monk is going near a village in another village. In the morning, having put on his lower garment, he goes to that village. The householder says, "Venerable one, since you are an Arhat, please enter the house." If he says, "I am not even a little bit an Arhat, but if you can tolerate it, I will enter," there is no offense. Saying, "Please sit on the cushion, please partake of food, myrobalan, and preserves, please rejoice, please come again," if he says, "I am not even a little bit an Arhat, but if you can tolerate it, I will come again," there is no offense. The householder says to a certain monk, "Venerable one, the doors of your senses are very well restrained and well guarded," and if he consents without speaking, it becomes a grave offense. Saying, "Please come again," if he says, "I am not even a little bit an Arhat," and then leaves, there is no offense. In short, the six actions, and clairvoyance, and without a heap of fire, and sounds that do not transgress, and Gandharvas and Asuras, striking a pond and "འབའ་ལ་ཧ", lower asceticism always two, two fights and a boy coming to a comfortable place, beauty and these two, the two verses of the Sutra should be known extensively. In short, འཆར་ཀ་ (Tibetan: འཆར་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ), big, sky, stroking the head with both hands, nakedness, bathhouse, bathing work, place and impropriety. The story takes place in Shravasti. When the training rule has not been established, there is no offense for the first offender. The venerable འཆར་ཀ་ (Tibetan: འཆར་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) thought, "I have intentionally emitted semen many times when the training rule has not been established, what is the first offense that I have committed?" He became doubtful. The Blessed One said, "When the training rule has not been established, everything that འཆར་ཀ་ (Tibetan: འཆར་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) has committed in the past and present is the first offense, and there is no offense for the first offender." A certain monk...
