如果用（财物）进行交易，会怎么样？会被舍弃。比丘，如果和亲属一起用各种财物进行交易，会怎么样？会犯堕罪。比丘，比丘用各种财物进行交易，但不会被舍弃的情况有吗？邬波离，有的。如果以相似物换取相似物，则没有罪过。比丘，比丘尼用各种财物进行交易，会怎么样？会被舍弃。对于沙弥尼、沙弥和沙弥尼，会犯堕罪。在此学处中，买卖也应如是广说。 总而言之，即是彼物本身、遗失之物，以及其他外道之处，未烧之物、白色之物，疯癫者、名称、讯息，存在之物、生活、比丘尼。世尊佛陀，具寿邬波离请问：如果持有那个钵，会犯错吗？持有那个钵不会犯错的情况有吗？ 邬波离，有的。例如，比丘持有一个大钵，后来变性成为比丘尼并持有它，就会犯堕罪。比丘，如果比丘舍弃的钵遗失了，需要忏悔堕罪吗？邬波离，需要忏悔。忏悔后如果再次获得，需要舍弃吗？邬波离，不需要。比丘，世尊说比丘不要持有超过十天的多余的钵。比丘，比丘持有超过十天的多余的钵，但不会犯错的情况有吗？邬波离，有的。例如，比丘在其他地方托比丘带一个钵，那个人持有那个钵很久也没有罪过。比丘，如果外道持有比丘的钵，会怎么样？会犯堕罪。比丘，如果比丘持有未烧的钵，或者小钵，或者大钵，会怎么样？会犯堕罪。比丘，如果比丘持有白色的钵，会怎么样？会犯堕罪。比丘如果刚得到钵就疯了，从什么时候开始计算十天？从他恢复意识的时候开始。

If one engages in transactions (with wealth), what will happen? It will be relinquished. Bhikshu, if one engages in transactions with various kinds of wealth together with relatives, what will happen? One will commit an offense. Bhikshu, is there a case where a bhikshu engages in transactions with various kinds of wealth but it is not relinquished? Upali, yes, there is. If one exchanges similar things for similar things, there is no offense. Bhikshu, if a bhikshuni engages in transactions with various kinds of wealth, what will happen? It will be relinquished. For a shramanerika, a shramanera, and shramanerikas, there is an offense. In this training precept, buying and selling should also be explained in detail. In summary: that same thing, and lost things, and other non-Buddhist places, unburnt things, white things, madmen, names, messages, existing things, livelihood, bhikshunis. The Venerable Upali asked the Buddha, the Bhagavan: Is there an offense if one holds that alms bowl? Is there a case where holding that same alms bowl does not constitute an offense? Upali, yes, there is. For example, if a bhikshu holds a large alms bowl, and then changes gender and becomes a bhikshuni and holds it, it will constitute an offense. Bhikshu, if an alms bowl that a bhikshu has relinquished is lost, should the offense be confessed? Upali, it should be confessed. If one confesses the offense and then finds it again, should it be relinquished? Upali, no, it should not. Bhikshu, the Bhagavan said that a bhikshu should not hold an extra alms bowl for more than ten days. Bhikshu, is there a case where a bhikshu holds an extra alms bowl for more than ten days but does not commit an offense? Upali, yes, there is. For example, if a bhikshu sends an alms bowl to another bhikshu in another place, and that person holds that alms bowl for a very long time, there is no offense. Bhikshu, if a non-Buddhist holds a bhikshu's alms bowl, what will happen? One will commit an offense. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu holds an unburnt alms bowl, or a small alms bowl, or a large alms bowl, what will happen? One will commit an offense. Bhikshu, if a bhikshu holds a white alms bowl, what will happen? One will commit an offense. Venerable, if a monk seeks a second bowl through a messenger and obtains the bowl, what will happen? It will be a misdeed.
