Summary: Sex, four types of people, seven types of people, and for the sake of others, similar to precepts and relatives, and a bhikkhuni is the last. Monk: If a monk engages in various kinds of sexual conduct, changes gender and becomes a bhikkhuni, and thereby gains benefits, what happens? One commits an offense entailing forfeiture. Monk: If a monk engages in various kinds of sexual conduct, changes gender and becomes a monk, and thereby gains benefits, what happens? One commits an offense entailing forfeiture. So! Venerable one, if a learner engages in various kinds of covert conduct, what will happen? It will result in a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Venerable one, if one engages in various kinds of covert conduct together with relatives, what will happen? It will result in a Dukkhata offense. Venerable one, is it possible that a Bhikshu engages in various kinds of covert conduct but does not incur an offense? Near Attendant, yes, it is. If one speaks of similarity by similarity, there is no offense. Venerable one, if a Bhikshuni engages in various kinds of covert conduct, what will happen? It will result in a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. For Bhikshunis, Shramaneras, Shramanerikas, and those who have previously committed offenses, it will result in a Dukkhata offense. The venerable Ananda asked the Blessed One: Venerable one, the Blessed One also said that if any Bhikshu engages in various kinds of trade, it will result in a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. What does that mean? The remaining text is: Just as the explanation of covert conduct is, so too should this trade be explained in detail. Verse: That same loss and another country, heretics, abandonment, non-white and, aspiration, sign and messenger and, existence and livelihood Bhikshuni. The venerable Ananda asked the Blessed One: Venerable one, the Blessed One said that a Bhikshu should keep an extra bowl for up to ten days. If he keeps it longer than that, he will incur a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Venerable one, is it possible that keeping that bowl will also incur an offense, and keeping that bowl will not incur an offense? Near Attendant, yes, it is. For example, if a Bhikshu is holding a large bowl, but the sign of the bowl changes and it is taken and held by a Bhikshuni, it will result in a Dukkhata offense. Venerable one, if a Bhikshu's abandoned bowl is damaged, should he confess the offense? Near Attendant, he should confess. If he finds it again after confessing, should he abandon it? Near Attendant, no. Venerable one, the Blessed One said that a Bhikshu should keep an extra bowl for up to ten days. What does that mean? Venerable one, a Bhikshu has kept an extra bowl for more than ten nights.
