If one commissions weaving and a Dharma robe is completed, what happens? An offense is committed. Similarly, if one commissions a weaver who is mentally distracted, or distressed by feelings, or deaf, or foolish, or residing elsewhere, who is not a relative, to weave a Dharma robe, and the Dharma robe is completed, what happens? An offense is committed. Summary: Non-male, food itself, Likewise, common gender, Unsuitable and seven classes, Four classes of learners and nuns. Venerable, if a monk commissions a non-relative non-male weaver to weave a Dharma robe, and the Dharma robe is completed, what happens? An offense is committed. Similarly, if one commissions food, a non-male, or a hermaphrodite who is not a relative to weave a Dharma robe, and the Dharma robe is completed, what happens? An offense is committed. Venerable, if a monk commissions a non-relative weaver to weave a common Dharma robe, and the Dharma robe is completed, what happens? An offense is committed. Venerable, if a monk commissions a non-relative weaver to weave a Dharma robe, and the weaver transforms into a nun and obtains (the robe), what happens? It becomes an offense of expiation. Venerable, if a nun commissions a non-relative weaver to weave a Dharma robe, and the weaver transforms into a monk and obtains (the robe), what happens? It becomes an offense of expiation. Venerable, is there a case where a monk commissions a non-relative weaver to weave a Dharma robe, and even if the Dharma robe is completed, it does not become an offense of expiation? Near-round, there is. For example, if the threads of that Dharma robe are suitable, but the materials are unsuitable; or the materials are suitable, but the threads are unsuitable; or both are unsuitable. Unsuitable materials are: those mixed with musk wool, cow hair, wild animal wool, or goat wool. If one commissions a non-relative weaver to weave them, and a Dharma robe is completed, an offense is committed. Venerable, if one commissions an unordained person (to weave), and commissions a non-relative weaver to weave a Dharma robe, and it is completed while unordained, what happens? An offense is committed. If one begins the preparation while unordained, and it is completed at the time of ordination, what happens? An offense is committed.
