Living there. In the morning, having put on my lower garment, I took my bowl and robes and went to Aḍumantur for alms. Having gone through Aḍumantur for alms, I did the work of eating. Having abandoned the afternoon alms, I put down my bowl and robes. Having washed my feet, I sat down in the courtyard of the ghost house, entering inside for meditation. Then, at that time, in Adumā there was thunder and hail, and four oxen and a pair of farmer brothers died. After that, many people in Adumā made a great noise and many sounds. I arose from my afternoon meditation and came out from the courtyard of the ghost house, walking in the shadow of the ghost house without cover. Then, another man came to me from among those people, bowed his head at my feet, and walked after me as I walked. I said to him, "Hey, sir, what is this great noise and many sounds that the people of Adumā are making?" He said, "Venerable one, like this, in Adumā there was thunder and hail, and four oxen and a pair of farmer brothers died. Therefore, like this, many people of Adumā are making a great noise and many sounds." He said, "Bhagavan, what? Didn't you hear the thunder and hail?" I said to him, "Hey, sir, I didn't hear." He said, "What? Bhagavan, were you asleep?" I said to him, "Hey, sir, I was not asleep." He said, "What? Bhagavan, with the perception of not being asleep, didn't you hear the thunder and hail?" I said to him, "Hey, sir, with the perception of not being asleep, I didn't hear the thunder and hail." Then that man thought, "Since when has the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, entered into peace?"

ས་ནས། གང་གི་ཕྱིར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མ་གཟིམས་པའི་འདུ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་འབྲུག་ཆེམས་ཞེས་ཟེར་བ་དང་། ཐོག་བབས་པའི་སྒྲ་མ་གསན་པར་གྱུར་པ་ནི་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེའོ་ཞེས་བསམས་ནས་སྐྱེས་བུ་དེ་ང་ལ་དད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིང་དད་པའི་དབང་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ། འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་སུ་ཞིག་མངོན་པར་མི་དད་ལགས། བདག་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་བཙུན་པ་ བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་མངོན་པར་དད་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོས་གཡོག་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཀྱེ་སྐྱེས་བུ་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་ཁ་དོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་ང་ལ་བྱིན་ཅིག་དང་། དེ་ངས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་དབུལ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་སྐྱེས་བུ་དེས་ཀྱང་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོ་ལ་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་བྱིན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོས་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་ཁྱེར་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་པོ་འདི་བདག་ཅག་གི་ཡིད་དུ་མཆི་བ་དགའ་བ་བཅང་བར་ འོས་པ་དེ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བར་དགོངས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཞེས་སུ་གསོལ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོ་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བར་དགོངས་ནས་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་བཞེས་པ་དང་། དེ་ནས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བདག་གིས་གཞན་ཡང་བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དང་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་ལ་རིམ་གྲོ་བགྱིའོ་ཞེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གཡུང་པོ་དགེ་བར་སྨྲས་སོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་དགའ་སྟེ་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རངས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་གཉིས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔ་ནས་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གྱད་ཀྱི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་གཡུང་པོ་སོང་ནས་རིང་པོ་མ་ལོན་པར་མཁྱེན་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ལྟར་སེར་བ་ཟུང་གཅིག་ཁ་ཚར་གྲིས་ཆོད་ལ་ང་ལ་བྱིན་ཅིག་ངས་བགོ་བར་བྱའོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་རས་བཅོས་བུ་སར་པ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག

从那里，因为世尊没有睡觉的意识，所以说打雷，并且没有听到雷声，心想真是稀奇啊，那个人就对我产生了信仰，并且被信仰所支配，这样说道：尊者，谁会对世尊不生起信仰呢？我这样对尊者世尊生起了广大的信仰啊。说完之后，属于巨人之类的勇布对仆人这样说道：喂，那个人，请给我一件用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服。我要把它供养给世尊。说完之后，那个人也给了属于巨人之类的勇布一件用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服。之后，属于巨人之类的勇布拿着用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服，对世尊这样祈请道：世尊，这件用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服，是我们心中所想，应该怀着欢喜之情的东西，请您慈悲地接受吧。世尊慈悲地对待属于巨人之类的勇布，接受了那件用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服。之后，属于巨人之类的勇布对世尊这样说道：我还要为尊者世尊和僧众做供养。世尊回答勇布说：善哉。之后，属于巨人之类的勇布对世尊所说的话感到非常高兴，随喜赞叹，用头顶礼世尊的双足，然后从世尊面前离开了。之后，世尊知道属于巨人之类的勇布离开后不久，就对具寿阿难陀这样说道：阿难陀，把那件用布缝制的，像黄金颜色一样黄色的衣服用快刀割开，给我，我要穿。

From there, because the Blessed One had no consciousness of sleeping, so it is said that there was thunder, and he did not hear the sound of thunder, thinking it was very strange, that person developed faith in me, and being dominated by faith, he said: Venerable one, who would not have faith in the Blessed One? I have thus developed great faith in the Venerable Blessed One. After saying this, Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, said to the servant: Hey, that person, please give me a piece of cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold. I will offer it to the Blessed One. After saying this, that person also gave Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, a piece of cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold. After that, Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, took the cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold, and prayed to the Blessed One like this: Blessed One, this piece of cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold, is what we desire in our hearts, something that should be held with joy, please accept it with compassion. The Blessed One treated Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, with compassion, and accepted the cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold. After that, Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, said to the Blessed One: I will also make offerings to the Venerable Blessed One and the Sangha of monks. The Blessed One replied to Yungpo: Well done. After that, Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, was very happy with what the Blessed One said, rejoiced and praised, bowed to the Blessed One's feet with his head, and then left from the presence of the Blessed One. After that, the Blessed One knew that Yungpo, who belonged to the class of giants, had left not long ago, and said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, cut that cloth sewn, yellow like the color of gold, with a sharp knife, and give it to me, I will wear it.
