། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དབྱར་བྱེད་མཁས་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟར་སུམ་བཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་བགྲོས་པ་ལྟ་ཞིག །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ང་འདི་ན་ཉིན་མོའི་སྤྱོད་པས་བཞུགས་པ་ན་ལྷའི་སྤྱན་རྣམ་པར་དག་པ་མི་ལས་འདས་པས་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ན་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་གནས་ཀྱིས་འདྲེ་བར་གཟིགས་སོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཕྱོགས་གང་དུ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གནས་ཀྱིས་དྲེས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་དེར་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། གནས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སེམས་གཞོལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཕྱོགས་གང་དུ་ལྷ་བར་མ་དང་། ཕལ་པས་གནས་ཀྱིས་དྲེས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་དེར་ནི་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། གནས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་མི་བར་མ་དང་། ཕལ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སེམས་གཞོལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་འདིར་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་མཐུ་ཆེ་བའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གནས་ཀྱིས་དྲེས་པའི་ཕྱོགས་འདིར་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། གནས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་མཐུ་ཆེ་བའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སེམས་གཞོལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཡ་རབས་ཀྱི་གནས་དང་། ཡ་རབས་ཀྱི་ཐ་སྙད་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་དང་། ཚོང་པ་ཡ་རབས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལམ་དང་། ཟོང་དགྲམ་པར་ཡང་འགྱུར་ཏེ། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདི་མཆོག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ལ་བར་ཆད་གསུམ་འབྱུང་བར་རིག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། མེ་དང་། ཆུ་དང་། ནང་འཁྲུག་གིས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་སྣ་ ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དབྱར་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གཽ་ཏ་མ་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱ་ནས་ལྗོངས་རྒྱུ་ཞིང་གཤེགས་ནས་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་དུ་བྱོན་ཏེ། དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་གི་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་མཆོད་རྟེན་གྱི་དྲུང་ན་བཞུགས་ ཏེ། དེ་ལ་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱས་སོ་ཞེས་ཐོས་སོ། །ཐོས་ནས་ཀྱང་དམར་བུ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ནས་བྱུང་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གང་ན་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་མངོན་དུ་ཡང་དག་པར་དགའ་བ་དང་། ཡང་དག་པར་མགུ་བའི་གཏམ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་བྱས་ནས་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་གོ །ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་སྣ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་གཏོགས་པ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དབྱར་བྱེད་ལ་ཆོས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་གཏམ་གྱིས་ཡང་དག་པར་སྟོན་པར་མཛད། ཡང་དག་པར་འཛིན་དུ་འཇུག་པར་མཛད། ཡང་དག་པར་གཟེངས་སྟོད་པར་མཛད། ཡང་དག་པར་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བར་མཛད་དེ། རྣམ་གྲངས་དུ་མར་ཆོས

Ananda, well done, well done! Ananda, the Brahmin Vassakara, a great figure of Magadha, is a wise man. He consulted with the gods of the Thirty-three. Ananda, while I was staying here, abiding in the conduct of the day, with pure divine eyes, surpassing humans, I saw that powerful and mighty gods dwell in the village of Dāmarubuca. Ananda, in whatever direction the powerful and mighty gods mingle with their dwellings, in that direction, the minds of the powerful and mighty people will also incline towards the dwellings. In whatever direction the intermediate and inferior gods mingle with their dwellings, in that direction, the minds of the intermediate and inferior people will also incline towards the dwellings. Ananda, in this village of Dāmarubuca, the powerful and mighty gods mingle with their dwellings, and so here, the minds of the powerful people will incline towards the dwellings. Ananda, as many noble dwellings and noble names as there are, and the paths of noble merchants, will also expand goods, and thus, the village of Dāmarubuca will become exceedingly prosperous. It should be known that three obstacles will arise here: fire, water, and internal strife. Then, the Brahmin Vassakara, a great figure of Magadha, heard that the ascetic Gautama had traveled from Magadha and arrived at the village of Dāmarubuca, and was staying near the Dāmarubuca shrine in the village of Dāmarubuca. The Brahmins and householders of Dāmarubuca were attending to him. Having heard this, he also came out of the village of Dāmarubuca and went to where the Blessed One was. Having arrived, he rejoiced with the Blessed One, conversed in various ways, and then sat to one side. Having sat to one side, the Blessed One, with speech in accordance with the Dharma, correctly instructed the Brahmin Vassakara, a great figure of Magadha, enabled him to correctly understand, enabled him to correctly uplift himself, and made him exceedingly joyful. In many ways, he spoke the Dharma.
